Rest stop

Great little plaza in the middle of historic downtown Socorro. It is surrounded by lovely shops, restaurants, and a veterans memorial with adjoining park. A nice place to walk and/or rest.

Spoiled by vagrants sleeping on the lawn!

We wanted to take a walk around the area but we had to change our plans...a half dozen vagrants were either on the benches or sleeping on the grass. A few were a little scary looking! Otherwise, it ...

pretty little park

Wandered past, stopped and went to a couple small shops and visited a few booths. I bought some iris flag tubers from a lady with a stand! I'm excite to plant these !

Nice memorial

This isn't something that you'd make a special trip to see, but if you're already in the area it's a pretty park with some nice veterans memorials. ALSO, the Socorro visitors center is nearby, and you...
