The Water-Splashing Festival of the Dai ethnic group is just around the corner, and many friends are heading to Xishuangbanna or Mangshi to enjoy the fun. However, these places are bound to be packed with people. As a guide in Yunnan for 14 years, I recommend Tengchong, a place where you can experience the Water-Splashing Festival with fewer people and beautiful scenery. - Tengchong is not far from Mangshi and Ruili, so you can visit Tengchong while experiencing the Water-Splashing Festival. Here are a few Tengchong attractions worth visiting this season. - 1️⃣ Gaoligong Mountain Trekking Spring is the perfect season for trekking and enjoying the outdoors. During this time, the wild giant rhododendrons of Gaoligong Mountain are in bloom, and the vegetation is thriving. Here, people have turned work into life, business into friendship, and tea drinking into a pass for interpersonal communication... like a mysterious large zigzag village! not commercial like most of those ancient towns elsewhere, has local life and businesses! atmospheric, wavy streets next to a lake and wetlands! I suggest staying in heshun when visiting tengchong

Heshun will regret it if you don’t go to Tengchong. It’s worth going to Heshun. It’s more worth going to. It’s different from other ancient towns. It’s beautiful and quiet. The flower cakes are delicious. I will recommend it to my friends. It’s really a scene.

|Heshun Ancient Town ^ is located 4 kilometers west of Tengchong County. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. It was named "Heshun" because of the small river around the village. The later literati Yashi took the meaning of "Shihe Minshun" and changed its name to "Heshun". Heshun Ancient Town is a famous overseas Chinese town in Yunnan Province, and it is also a heavy town of tea-horse ancient road. The only place to pass by the southwest Silk Road. The ancient town buildings are built around the mountains, rising from east to west, extending for two or three kilometers. There are temples, archways and ancient houses in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main attractions in the town are: the Myanmar Anti-Japanese War Museum, Zhongtian Temple, Wanlouzi, Liu's Ancestral Temple, Aisiqi Memorial Hall, Wenchang Palace and Heshun Library. Along the alleys of the ancient town, you can visit the old houses, old streets and ancient Ancestral Temple in the ancient town. The Museum of the Bending Building Ziju can open your eyes: the building can still be like this.
