Yanchi Museum

Yanchi County Museum is located in the southeast corner of Chengguan Town, Yanchi County. It was built in 1951 to commemorate the Yanchi martyrs who died in the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation. The memorial tower rebuilt in 1978 is in the shape of an octagonal pyramid and is 19 meters high. The front is engraved with "The revolutionary martyrs will live forever". In June 1985, Yanchi County Museum was established, with four exhibition halls for calligraphy and painting, historical relics, martyrs' life stories, and revolutionary relics. In September 2018, the China Museum Association decided to agree to evaluate Yanchi County Museum as a national third-level museum. In October 2018, it was named the 2018 "National Research and Practice Education Base for Primary and Secondary School Students".
