I’m starting my review with the mini carrot cake. This had a filling in the centre and cream cheese frosting. They were the BEST of all! 🥕I think by now you all know that I absolutely love pistachios & the cute lil baklava cups were filled with ground pistachio & lightly drenched in sugar syrup. So so good! 🤤 Love the thought behind the date on the mini creole cake. It’s all in the details ✨ The beautiful raspberry craquelin profiteroles and fruit tart were as good as they tasted. I ate both fruit tarts! 👀🥰
Happy Monday! Swipe for autumn tablescape close ups! Tray of decorative gourds here and some are home grown! Not many this year as the weather wasn’t kind to them!
My grannie (we called her Dodo) was an artist (and concert pianist too) and she used to paint still life oil paintings featuring these type of gourds and fruit, flowers etc and I bet she would be astonished to see similar appearing on the gram all those years later!
I used to think her style of painting was old fashioned and not my style! But now all the vintage markets have similar oil paintings for sale! How funny that things come back into fashion eventually!
I find when I need to relax and chill I love to style and faff! Anyone else? Hence the autumn tablescape I styled at the weekend! Can you spot the pretty flower biscuits that another lovely client @sheratoninteriors kindly sent to me - whole box of pretty biscuits from @biscuiteersltd! Another fabulous surprise! So kind!
@adrian_lovettturner update - it’s our wedding anniversary! Also I wasn’t able to collect him from hospital yesterday as he was having loads of tests and they went on all day! Hoping to go sometime today!
Hope you had a fab weekend! Have a super day darlings!
Have you heard the song “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone?” That pretty much sums up how I’m feeling about eating and drinking inside restaurants and bars again, like I’d forgotten just how good it actually is 😍
💕 TBT to eating all the brunch (and drinking all the drinks ☕️🍸🤪) @melangerestaurants because I cannot wait to get out brunching again this coming weekend. I’m such a fair weather foodie, I was not loving life wearing a sleeping bag-style coat to the pub to get periodically rained on, get me in the warm and dry confines of a cute af cafe and I’m a happy bunny 🐰
Let me know where you’ve got booked if you’re planning on venturing out this weekend too ⬇️ I can’t wait to share my adventures with you, I’ve got some fab experiences lines up so watch this space for inspo! 🌸🌸🌸
Central Park is one of the most famous parks in the world, because this park is often used as a location for films and television coverage. It is managed by the non-profit Central Park Conservancy contracted by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
On the north side, Central Park meets West 110th Street (better known as Central Park North), on the east side with Central Park West, on the south side with West 59th Street (Central Pntral South), and on the west side with Fifth Avenue. The street on the east side of the park was never referred to as "Central Park East," but rather Fifth Avenue. Around the park there are luxurious buildings and is an area with high land prices.
The park was designed by Frederick Law Olmstenotguide and Calvert Vaux. The two are also known for designing Prospect Park in nearby Brooklyn. Although it looks natural, the landscaping of Central Park is entirely the result of human intervention. Inside the park there are artificial lakes and ponds, walking trails, two ice skating rinks, a liar animal protected area, grass field, and a playground for children. Central Park is often visited by migratory birds, making it a favorite place for bird watchers. The total length of the walks within the park is 10 km. Visitors are busy jogging, cycling, or rollerblading, especially on weekends or since 19.00 after motorized
vehicles are prohibited from passing.
Looking at the London UK skyline from the other side is highly recommended, so ask around the best locations to explore its beauty at The View From The Shard. Lots of tourists who visit these places, including the tallest building in the city of London. This skyscraper is the best platform for attractions at the highest level, especially at level 69 and level 72. An added attraction is the storey floor, namely The Sky Boutique, this is the highest location in the city of London, England. . starting from the entrance of the building, every visitor must pass through the inspection door, if there is an opportunity to take a photo spot, they must follow the rules, which must be in front of the green line. Along the lobby walls are animated spots on video screens as historical local news outlets. Like animations and short films imitating the enchanting city of London. All of these short films provide news about the city of London using very informative illustrations of image rebates.
While in this building, don't be afraid to go upstairs, no need to climb stairs, there is an elevator system that can increase your step speed. There are lifts available two up & two down. The journey for each ascent to the building level is per six meters of time covered one second. So it can be counted up to the first zenith when /- 1 minute.
Situated on the banks of the River Thames, the London Eye is an enormous, 135 meter (443 ft) high observation wheel carrying 32 exterior glass-walled capsules. It offers fantastic views over central London. The wheel does not usually stop to take on passengers as the rotation rate is slow enough to allow passengers to walk on and off the moving capsules at ground level. It is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over 3.5 million people annually.
