Now easily accessible, this structure stands tall in a beautiful bay. Built by the British in the late 1800s its worth the visit. It's free too.

El Hornillo - British built

This pier was designed and built by the British who came to the area to help the Spanish with mining minerals - lead, silver, iron. There is a bigger Hornillo in Almeria.
