The Alad & Pearson Museum, located at the University of Amsterdam in downtown Amsterdam, is a Baroque-style architecture. It has exhibits related to ancient Egypt and Rome. It is free to visit and rented for interpreters.
It is an archaeological museum of the University of Amsterdam. It was officially opened in 1934. It is named after Alad Pearson, the first professor of Classical Archaeology at the University of Amsterdam. It mainly collects historical relics of ancient Egypt, the Near East, Greece, Etruria, Rome and Cyprus.
