Turpan Desert Botanical Garden belongs to Xinjiang Institute of Biological Soil Deserts, Chinese Academy of Sciences. One of the 12 botanical gardens directly under the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the only desert botanical garden in the arid desert area of Northwest China and the lowest botanical garden in the world.
