The Kekexili National Nature Reserve in Qinghai Province is located in the western part of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture with a total area of 4.5 million hectares. Hoh Xili is a nature reserve with better preservation of primitive ecological environment in the early 21st century. It is the largest, highest elevation and richest wildlife resources nature reserve built in China. It is known as "the third pole of the world" and "the forbidden zone of life". Because of this, the plateau wildlife has created unique living conditions and become a "wildlife paradise".
