Before I came to Chengdu, I had never heard of Huanglongxi Ancient Town. After I came to Chengdu, I heard that Huanglongxi is worth visiting. It is an ancient town that has gone through 2100 years. With plenty of time, I decided to visit it. Originally planned to visit Mount Emei on Dec. 28, the Grand Buddha on Dec. 29, and the ancient town of Huanglongxi on Dec. 30, but it rained slightly on Dec. 27. According to the weather forecast, it stopped raining on Dec. 29 and changed the plan. That is, to visit the ancient town of Huanglongxi on Dec. 28 and Mount Emei on Dec. 30. Today, at 10:30 on the 28th, take the bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station (now renamed Chengdu Tourist Gathering and Distribution Center) to Huanglongxi Tourism Center (that is, bus station). Over an hour, there are buses in Huanglongxi Tourism Center to go to the ancient town, but few people sit because they walk to the ancient town within 10 minutes. When you get to the old town, you will be shocked by the stream in the center of the old town street. If it is not rainy, it will be more beautiful. The water in the stream is very clear and clear. There are many stone carvings of frogs and turtles and chess pieces in the stream. From one side of the stream to the other, you can walk on stone carvings of turtles and frogs or chess pieces. The width of the stream is only a few meters. On both sides of the street are ancient houses, wooden pillars, wooden fences and bricks. There are many restaurants on both sides of the street, as well as specialty shops, snack shops, handicraft shops and so on. There are too many things to say. The five-hole bridge, built of stone, is an arch bridge with a large arch. It has a very old pure wood three-storey building, but it is very strong. Visitors can go upstairs at will without fear of collapse. The quality of the wood is very good. When you arrive at Huanglongxi Town, you must think that you are in the south of the Yangtze River and that you are in the south of the Yangtze River. In short, it's worth a visit.
