舟山朱家尖素有“沙雕故鄉、度假天堂”的美稱，朱家尖島的東南部有東沙,南沙,千沙,里沙,青沙等五個沙灘，號稱"十里金沙"。每年都在朱家尖舉辦國際沙雕節，來自世界各地的沙雕藝術家在這裏一展身手，創作了許多精美絕倫的沙雕藝術作品，吸引了無數的遊客來此觀賞。
