大連金石灘地質博物館是國內第一個以海岸地質為主題的特色地質博物館。通過大連海岸的形成、演化以及與世界和中國海岸的對比，體現大連海岸的特色。展廳由序廳、地球廳、海洋廳、海岸廳、多功能廳及生命長廊、中央大廳等組成。
