The way of philosophy lies at the foot of Dongshan Mountain, along the artificial river canal, passing through several temples and shrines, Cizhao Temple, Faran Temple, Yongjiantang Temple, Nanchan Temple, Xiongyeruo Prince Shrine, and finally ending at Yinge Temple. The name of the Tao of Philosophy comes from Jiro Nishida, professor of philosophy at Kyoto University. It is said that he meditates here every day, so he has such a Zen name. On weekdays, the way of philosophy is actually an insignificant path along the river, but when it comes to cherry blossom season, two kilometers of walking paths are lined with cherry trees and beautiful wheels. It has been selected into 100 famous roads in Japan. There are about 500 "Guanxue Cherry" plants on both sides of the trails and canals. Dazheng Decade (1921), ranked as the chief painter in the Kyoto painting circle, Hashimoto Guanxue, whose wife planted cherry blossoms here, Guanxue Cherry got its name. I envy the people who live here. Every day, I only need to push the window, a piece of cherry pollen in spring and a piece of maple leaf in autumn. It was absolutely invincible. It was raining on the day we went, but there were not many people who appreciated the cherry.
