Located in the heart of Luxembourg, the capital of Luxembourg, Wilhelm Square is named for the riding statue of King Wilhelm II, who was once King of the Netherlands and Duke of Luxembourg. Wilhelm Square is now the local open-air music gathering place. Since 1991, Knuedler rock concert has been held annually. The concert is open to the public free of charge, with a maximum audience of 10,000 people. Since 1995, the Plaza has held large-scale international concerts, which are popular with more and more people.
