比粒寺是舉行國王火葬儀式的廟宇，又稱變身塔。建築是典型的須彌山山形建築，地勢非常高，登頂后視野開闊，也是看日落的好去處。

比粒寺是古時皇族的火葬場，根據印度教義中的善惡輪迴解脫教義，火化之後靈魂起身往前走，直接登上神靈的聖壇，紅磚建造，在陽光的照射下通體紅色，氛圍獨特。白雲悠悠古寺巍峨。

導遊帶我們到高處欣賞日落。走下樓梯的時候感覺有點恐怖，沒有側把手，而且樓梯很高。在太陽落山後，會感到有一點毛骨悚然。好像感覺頭髮都豎起來了。沒有想象中的好。
