St. Patrick's Church is Melbourne's largest and highest Catholic Church in the southern hemisphere. The Gothic-style cathedral, mostly built of bluestone, was designed by the famous British architect Huadai. It was officially opened in October 1897, but the three minarets were not completed until 1939. The steeple is 105.8 meters high and the church is 92.25 meters deep. The stained glass windows and the huge organ in the church are all worth watching. The church is very large, there are many statues around it, and the green space is very beautiful.
