On the Yangtze River between Wuchang Snake Mountain and Guishan Mountain in Hanyang, Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the first bridge on Wanli Yangtze River. It is also the first double-track railway built on the Yangtze River after the founding of New China. The highway dual-purpose bridge is called "the first bridge on Wanli Yangtze River". Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is one of 156 projects supported by the Soviet Union. On October 15, 1957, 50,000 people of Wuhan held the opening ceremony of Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. Sixty years later, the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is still magnificent on the river. Close look, the bridge body structure is very strong, which is not a spectacle of modern bridge construction technology. The 1,670-meter-long Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge was measured by footsteps. Half of the time, we saw the officers and soldiers guarding the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge patrolling under the sun with sticks every day. They were all moved.
