18th century listed building set in the charming village Brimington, in Chesterfield.
Wonderful staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, looked after and as if you’re the only guests they have at their lovely hotel.
Service with a smile!
Thank you team for a great stay and turn that music up for the guests on arrival!
We stayed at the hotel following a wedding. The hotel itself is beautiful and the food was delicious. The room was spacious and clean. There were some areas that were quite tired looking and items in the room that did not work such as the fan. The main issue with the room was a very strong smell that seemed to be from the sewage. The communication from staff was very poor. Overall I expected a lot better especially with the price of the room.
Excellent stay all members of staff were very attentive and friendly.
Room was lovely with lots of extra touches Molton Brown, Cadbury hot chocolate, Twonning tea with a teapot and daily paper. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud very luxury.
Food was delicious and a lovely range of cocktails and Jeremy Clarkson beers and ciders
Beautiful gardens.
We will definitely return. Thank you for a pleasant, relaxing stay.
DDr.BalramBest Western Plus Buxton Hotel
Stayed here for one night during my Peak District trip. The hotel is very well located, right in the centre of Buxton and close to the Pavilion Gardens, bus stops, and walking routes. The room was clean, comfortable, and warm — perfect after a long day of hiking. Staff were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was smooth and hassle-free. A solid choice if you’re exploring Buxton and the Peak District using public transport.

訪訪客An excellent short stay in this B&B situated above a tea room in the village of Bonsall.
Check-in is a small window of 2 hours between 2 and 4 pm but it does state that you can organise late check-in if you are stuck. Best to avoid the area around the Heights of Abraham when traveling in at the weekend as it gets very busy.
We were there just to check out the area for walking and it suited our needs perfectly. The owner greeted us and made sure we settled in and as a bonus, the tea room was still open to allow us to sample their delicious cakes before unpacking. We went to the Kings Head pub for dinner which is a 3-minute walk up the hill and I must say it was a good choice. Another place with great hospitality with a mix of locals and visitors but more importantly good honest grub.
Breakfast was probably one of the best we have ever had at a B&B it was plentiful and there was no compromise on quality, perfect to fuel us for another day on the hills.
Thank you for hosting us and giving us good value for money in an excellent location to explore the Peak District National Park.
