Absolutely no issues with my stay. Only thing is I would have planned differently knowing what I know now. Complimentary Gym and Swimming (depending on availability) which, for the price is a great addition. There is access to laundry facilities, I would have packed a little lighter knowing this. The only issue was the first couple machines I tried had an error and I was still charged but there is a Website to file for refund. I took pictures of the error codes. There is access to a shared kitchen which does have some plates, cups etc and hob/oven. There is also fridge and freezer. I did not have a car. But there is a reasonable bus service. There are places to buy food on the other buildings on campus, and there is a shop for groceries but it is quite expensive maybe £1-£2 more than you would expect for some things. If you were wanting to do some self catering you might want to buy at a cheaper store in town. Just remember it’s a shared space and keep it clean. You can walk to Wallace monument in 40 mins. Bus into Stirling takes 20mins lots of things to see just in Stirling centre. If you are interested in Scottish history it’s a trove of lots of collisions of different things. Scottish Royalty to reformation. The pictures on site are pretty accurate and the en-suite room is exactly what you need. Perfect for solo travellers or small groups who want individual rooms wouldn’t really be suitable for families with small kids.
Room was clean and comfortable if not to the level of modernity you would expect for the price. All fine but rooms and health suite could do with a facelift
A good room and well worth it’s money (compared to the prices you have to pay for an accommodation in Edinburgh)! We had our own kettle, tea and coffee in our room, also the breakfast and the restaurant was great! The only flaw was that it was so far away from the city center and there aren’t many buses stopping near the accommodation, I should have researched that better. Besides that we had an amazing stay and I can recommend this place!
