It's incredibly crowded, probably every day. It's all tourists, and the prices are high; it's especially expensive here because everything is geared towards tourists. I'm not a customer, so I don't eat anything here. I'm just here to stroll around and soak up the atmosphere.

Khao San Road in Bangkok, Thailand has the title of backpacker paradise, bar street, with super many specialty restaurants, many gourmet staples or snacks, souvenirs, local clothing, many bed and breakfasts around for travelers to stay.

"It's very lively even late at night! There are many bars where you can drink until the morning, so you can enjoy yourself all night long. As it is a mecca for backpackers, it is also attractive that you can quickly make friends with people from all over the world! It is the best night spot because you can easily make friends even if you are traveling alone."

There were so many different shops and it was fun! There were restaurants, massage parlors, and everything! Also, the sales pitches from the shops were awful, lol. If you walk down the street next to Khao San Road, you'll find a row of massage parlors. I recommend checking out a few on that street and considering prices before going. At the place I went to (see photo), there was someone there who spoke Japanese, and they even taught me some Thai!

It's always fun! Just one street down Khao San Road, there are plenty of relaxing cafes. ♡ Hotels in this area are also affordable, so it's a great choice for backpackers. You'll also make lots of friends at the bars. 😌 Although it's a lively area, it's incredibly quiet in the mornings.

💡 Trip.com

Even though the hotel is a bit old and the facilities aren't as modern as newer hotels, it's very clean, and it's nothing like what some people say on social media platforms. The staff are all very friendly. Taking a Saver Bike to attractions like the Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen (Giant Buddha) only costs about 80 baht at most. This hotel is perfect for a budget-conscious solo student traveler like me who doesn't have high material desires in Thailand.

Very clean comfortable room with fabulous views. Luxury massive plush pilllows and spacious feeling. Firm mattress. Room cleaned and turned over daily with lovely fresh smell. Fairly quiet and corridors and lobby were modern and well maintained. Lifts had annoying ads running though. Good security features using your card to operate the lift. I chose this hotel for the pool and sunbathing deck to find it unexpectedly under renovation so was a bit disappointed. We enjoyed Bangkoks transport network for exploring the city. It’s only a ten min walk to the nearest BTS which doesn’t sound a lot but in the heat and humidity it’s a challenge so used grabs more than planned. Front desk and service staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. We didn’t use the restaurant or room service as felt it was a bit pricey so can’t comment.

The hotel is located in the middle of Soi 36, within walking distance of BTS Thonglor. You can also walk through Soi 38 using the pathway. The hotel offers a tuk-tuk service until 8 PM, which is very convenient. The room size, cleanliness, modern building, and affordable price make it a great choice for a 3-night stay in Bangkok.

It's an older hotel, after all, but the location is truly excellent. It's very close to the Grand Palace, and right outside the door is a very bustling street. It's convenient to get anywhere and traffic isn't usually an issue. The value for money is quite good. Some of the reviews online are, how should I put it, a bit subjective. I've stayed at three hotels in Bangkok, with prices ranging from 200-400, and I think this one is quite good overall.

The room isn’t very big but it’s very clean. It might be a bit tricky if you need to open two large suitcases, but since my friend and I only brought carry-on luggage, it wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. About a 10-minute walk takes you to a lively street with Robinson and lots of local snacks. The off-season price was really ideal. The pool is quite small, more suitable for soaking and enjoying the view.

The Ambassador Hotel Bangkok is a phenomenal choice if you prioritize location, expansive facilities, and value in the heart of the city. Situated directly on the vibrant Sukhumvit Soi 11 and just a two-minute walk from the BTS Nana Skytrain station, the connectivity here is truly unmatched. You are instantly immersed in Bangkok's best nightlife, dining, and easy access to major shopping centers like Terminal 21. While the hotel is large and has a classic history, recent updates—especially in the Sky Wing—ensure a comfortable and modern stay. I highly recommend booking a room in the Sky Wing for larger, more contemporary accommodations and often better views. The amenities are excellent; the outdoor pool area provides a great escape from the city heat, and the state-of-the-art fitness center is one of the biggest you'll find in a Bangkok hotel, complete with squash courts.

A very pleasant hotel, everything met our expectations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Housekeeping cleaned thoroughly every day. The location is convenient — there are cafes, shops, and public transport nearby. It’s easy to walk to the city center or reach it within a few minutes by taxi. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, with a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

My stay at the Movenpick Hotel was good, the employee and all the employees were friendly, I asked them to extend the check-out time and they accepted my request with open arms. But I have a comment on the cleanliness of the room in general and the bathroom. There was dust and ants in the room. The color of the bed and bed covers changed from white to gray, and the covers and pillows had an unpleasant smell. I hope the hotel management will look into this matter because it is considered a five-star hotel, and cleanliness and health are among the hotel’s priorities and the pursuit of guest comfort. However, I did not see this in this hotel, and I will not stay in this hotel again for these reasons.

1. View is good especially at Moon Bar. If you stay at Ban Yan tree BKK, must visit because there will be entry fee THB 800 for outsider visitor but in-house is free entry, 2. Room cleanliness is honestly tell that; a) shower room has smells from drainage especially for 1st night but after shower, smells will be lesser.. b) amazing bath amenity that bath foam and bath oil, salt are awesome, pls try it however mold on the bath amenities area, which around the light that you won’t see it unless doing bath.. 😅 3. For check-out, you better to check the bill because, there was on daily extra charge around THB 60+ which for donation of Turtle 🐢that we never get information .. front desk staff genuinely removed it from bill.. it’s better to inform guest upon check in for better communication if needs to avoid inaccurate billing issue. 4. MRT, exit 2 and just go straight then you will see the hotel but need walk around 10-15min. Good thing is 7/11 very near not even walk 3min and you can buy the SIM card if needs.. THB99 for 5 days 10 GB which cheaper than airport. 5. Only outdoor pool they have, a bit small area which two people swim then feel already crowded 🤣 6. Some of housekeeping polite but not all. HSKP staff was explained that wet bathrobe was just hanged inside bathroom, once informed to HSKP staff, she helped to change but just directly open the wardrobe without any permission which made feeling uncomfortable. 7. Room has glass bottle of waters provided as complimentary. However the cover has some smells but the water still fine. 8. Noise from road even we stayed at 57F, some of cars seems taking shooting for fast & Furious 🙂↔️🙂↔️ Recommend as experience ..

Returning to my hotel room, I wanted to take a shower and brush my teeth, but there was no toothpaste and no shower cap. It’s been several days that these items haven’t been provided, and I’ve stayed quiet. Tonight, I came back to my room again—still nothing. Do I have to request them every time before they’re given? It’s really exhausting. The housekeeping staff seem careless about restocking daily essentials, even though we’re paying for the room every day. The telephone hasn’t been cleaned for five days; it was covered in dust. I complained today, and only then did someone wipe it—but they used a small white towel that seemed to have been used by someone else. I don’t even know what it was previously used for. Since we talk on the phone with it close to our face, it’s not hygienic to clean it with a used towel from another guest room. I hope this issue can be improved—it’s the housekeeping department’s responsibility to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.

For my business trip to Bangkok, I chose a hotel conveniently located near my client. It was a roughly 30-minute taxi ride from the airport, with surprisingly light traffic even during peak hours. Directly opposite, a shopping complex offered great convenience for dining and shopping. I booked a deluxe sky zone room and was given the room at 67th floor as per my request at higher floors. I have been here many many years ago and really have a good impression that time so I decided to rebook this one despite many other bad reviews on this hotel. True enough I still found it very pleasing and would like to come back and introduce to others. The hotel is near pratunam market, platinum mall, decembers and also easy to walk to central world and big c. This saves us transportation fee and spend the time wisely since our itinerary for this stay is shopping. The hotel offers scheduled/reservation basis shuttle services to the train link to airport and also trip to mall. We booked the room with breakfast and it has plenty of choices and we enjoyed it. Besides, the observation deck and revolving roof deck are a plus. The room is spacious, though of course old design and can see some sign of ages but it does not matter to us. We were also to slept quite well. The only issue I have is the aircon a bit loud and blows directly to my face. The hot water from the shower is also a bit challenging to adjust the right hot/cold temperature. Despite this, we are happy with our stay. Overall happy with our stay.

Amari Bangkok – Perfect Couple’s Escape in the Heart of the City (2 Nights Stay) My partner and I stayed at Amari Bangkok for two nights, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern luxury and warm Thai hospitality, making it an ideal choice for couples looking for a relaxing city break. Check-in & Service: From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. The team at the reception and concierge were always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. Room: We stayed in a Deluxe King Room, and it was spotless, spacious, and tastefully designed with a contemporary Thai touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Bangkok skyline. The bathroom was sleek and well-equipped, complete with a rainfall shower and high-quality toiletries. Facilities: The pool area was one of our highlights — a tranquil oasis in the middle of the city. We enjoyed an afternoon lounging by the pool with cocktails from the pool bar. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the Breeze Spa was a must-do for couples; the aromatherapy massage was heavenly. Dining: Breakfast at Amaya Food Gallery was exceptional — a wide selection of Thai, Western, and Asian dishes with fresh fruit, pastries, and live cooking stations. We also had dinner one evening at Italthai, where the food and ambience made for a perfect romantic night in. Location: The location couldn’t be better — right near Siam, CentralWorld, and Pratunam, which made exploring and shopping incredibly convenient. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself felt peaceful and private. Overall: Amari Bangkok exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfort, attentive service, and central location made our short getaway truly memorable. It’s a wonderful choice for couples who want a blend of romance and city energy.

It's a very spacious and clean hotel. For those who want a connection room they need to make a special arrangement. I would suggest the opposite room instead of Side by side room. There might be a chance to have pillar in between. So it's not okay to share toiletries or food. But shampoo and shower provided in the toilet as well. I like the room very much as it was not carpet in the room. Free flow of Pepsi, drinking water, tea/coffee and instant cup noodles is replenished very day. You can bring your water bottle and refill your water at the lobby along the hallway. They provide liquid soap instead of a soap bar and their bathroom was marvellous, the floor is dry after each shower. Their shower screen is well installed. There is a microwave in the room. Great for business trips too. Their bidet toilet bowl is great for ppl who do not use toilet rolls. The only thing I didn't like was ~their automatic curtain, there is a gap above the holder too wide, sunlight just shines in every morning before my alarm. For my room, my children's room was okay. ~There was no dressing table either. Although there is a big mirror, there isn't a lighting above or a lamp for women to do their makeup. ~The lighting on the ceiling was weird too. Doesn't meet the area in need. Like I mentioned, if you need to use the mirror, any lighting will wake the other person up. But still I will stay again when I visit Bangkok again.

As a guest at Galleria 12 Sukhumvit Bangkok, I found the hotel to be a great choice for both business and leisure travel. Its prime location near Asok BTS and MRT stations, Terminal 21 shopping mall, and vibrant nightlife spots like Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy made it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The rooms were spotless and well-equipped with modern amenities such as rainfall showers, minibars, and coffee/tea facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptional, always professional and friendly, often going above and beyond to assist guests. Their personalised service was truly appreciated. Additionally, the hotel offered a range of facilities, including a fitness centre, outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, and a complimentary shuttle service to the main road, which added great value to my stay. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The lack of in-room food delivery was inconvenient, as I had to collect my Grab orders from the front desk. The on-site restaurant’s limited hours, closing at 1:30 pm, meant there were no dining options available for dinner, which was a bit of a drawback. The pool bar was unstaffed and lacked ambiance, and both the pool and gym closed early at 8 pm, which was restrictive for those wanting to exercise or relax later in the evening. Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped and has everything you need, but it's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated. There's a free shuttle boat to Iconsiam and the MRT station every half hour, which is very convenient. The hotel also has two swimming pools for guests to choose from. Cleanliness: It's clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Ambiance: As an established 5-star hotel, the overall layout and ambiance are very well-designed. It has an older, classic charm, situated right on the Chao Phraya River. All rooms have river views, and directly across is the famous Iconsiam – perfect for watching the sunset. Service: Check-in started with a bit of an unpleasant experience. We were told we had to wait an hour for our room key. After an hour, we were told we'd have to wait another half hour. When we declined to wait, the front desk eventually found a different, lower-floor room and said we could check into that one. However, this didn't match the room number on our check-in slip (which was on the deposit receipt). After we expressed our disagreement, they immediately provided the key to our original room within a few minutes. Looking back, it felt like they were intentionally delaying. Aside from this incident, all other staff members we encountered were very enthusiastic and helpful.

Areas of improvement: Could work on greeting guests upon arrival. 5 star hotels like Maladee did good for me and many others like the Taj in India do a phenomenal job at welcoming guests. A few complimentary snacks, tea and coffee would be great in the room. This could include any cup noodle or a good granola bar for guests especially the ones arriving late at night and just want a bite. You can still charge for extra amenities like the beer or other snack. There is ample staff here, a small tour of the hotel would be awesome especially when the guest request it.

We found this hotel on a website and were drawn to its well-designed decor and modern facilities, so our whole family decided to make a reservation here. On the first day, we arrived in Chiang Mai quite early and originally thought we would need to leave our luggage at the front desk. To our pleasant surprise, the front desk staff informed us that our rooms were already ready. This warm welcome made our family feel very happy and really set the tone for a wonderful trip. Upon check-in, we were offered welcome drinks, which could be enjoyed at the rooftop bar. Although the bar is not very large, it has a great atmosphere and offers a charming view of the local streets and alleyways from the windows. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. Eggs and pancakes could be made to order and served directly to your table. The beverage bar featured Thai coffee and Thai milk tea, which the staff kindly prepared upon request. They even thoughtfully asked if we wanted less sugar, accommodating the taste preferences of international guests. Though the dining area isn’t huge, the staff were very knowledgeable and efficient in their service. In the evening, the restaurant hosts live music performances, featuring seasoned and soulful artists that added a delightful touch to our evenings. We booked connecting rooms, which were perfect for a family trip. The location is right in the heart of Nimman Road, one of the liveliest areas in Chiang Mai. Despite the vibrant nightlife outside, the soundproofing was excellent, and we weren’t disturbed at all. The rooms were well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and even included umbrellas. Hotel lobby also features a small retail section selling beautiful crafted items made in collaboration with local artists. If you’re interested, you can enquiry with hotel staff. A truly unforgettable first trip to Chiang Mai, all thanks to Chala Number 6. This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and it completely exceeded my expectations. When our driver dropped us by the roadside, I was briefly unsure—there was no typical drop-off area, and the hotel was nestled beside a school. I started worrying if I’d made the right choice, especially with my mom traveling with me. But those doubts vanished the moment the bellboy crossed the street to greet us and carry our bags. From that point on, everything was seamless. Our room was ready before the official check-in time (bonus point right there 🍪). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and incredibly Instagram-worthy. Traditional music plays softly in the background, creating a calming, almost spiritual atmosphere. One of the biggest surprises? Complimentary afternoon tea from 2pm to 4pm. I’m usually not a fan of traditional desserts, but theirs were so thoughtfully curated and visually stunning—some even reminded me of Nyonya kuih from home. Breakfast was simple but included local Thai items. One dish made from sticky rice, coconut milk, and egg wrapped in banana leaves brought back memories for my mom—it tasted just like her childhood. It rained almost every day during our stay, and at night we could hear the sounds of nature—croaking toads and gentle rainfall. My mom said it felt like we had traveled back in time. There’s also a temple right across the road. As someone who’s a little superstitious, I found comfort in that peaceful presence 😅. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. The Sunday Market literally starts at the hotel’s doorstep, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a 2-minute walk away. A few minutes further is Lila Thai Massage—I didn’t get to try it myself, but I’ve heard nothing but great reviews. Chala Number 6 made this mother-daughter trip so special. I’m truly grateful for the kind service, the thoughtful details, and the peaceful atmosphere. The price? Well worth it. Thank you, Chala Number 6, for taking such good care of us. We’ll remember this stay for a long time. 🙇♀️

Snugged in a corner of a residential area is this gorgeous hotel that matches its name - White. Two 4 storey buildings and an open pool area make up this comfortable hotel with big huge rooms! Don't expect too much variety for your breakfast but it is sufficient! The location of the hotel is relatively near to (within 10 mins walk): 1) Chiang Mai Gate Market, 2) Anusarn Market, 3) Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, and 4) Wau Lai Walking Street by the river of Mae Kha Canal. You'll have to take time and walk around this area. If you stay around here for more than 3 days, you will find that this area has many little shops and restaurants littered all around that serves fabulous food at very affordable prices! Enjoy your stay! God bless! 😁👍👌✝️❤️

This is a large hotel with lovely entrance, staff on the whole are very pleasant We got a corner room which is huge with separate lounge , so roomy for the price. It has seating, dining and bedroom areas which all could do with fresh paint and touch up, the carpet is covered in stains and the shower has mould which puts you off. The dressing area needs painting as marks everywhere and new hair dryer required as this one has seen its day. The bed is big and comfortable so that’s good, unfortunately as previous people have said air con very noisy and have trouble sleeping. We are staying for four nights but I wish I had only booked a couple. The breakfast is limited. If they freshen up room I would come again

The hotel is located just outside the old city on the north west corner just outside the hotel is a bar but it’s not noisy and on the same complex a kfc and Pizza Hut. Just along the road is a little street food market which has some cheap and nice food. The hotel is nice and clean and rooms cleaned every day they is a gym but it’s not very big but decent size weights to use. Only noticed the day we checked out the windows in the room didn’t shut correctly so had a slight gap but we didn’t get any insects in the room on a night but overall a nice stays.

Perfect stay for a soak and rest! First time in Japanese onsen hotel came for the reviews. Very enjoyable stay: comfortable stay, bed was great although room size is abit small (worried about claustrophobic without windows but was fine). Shower was good too with amenities, obviously onsen is nice and abit more clean than I expected. Loved the shower stations there with super pressure you could take a good shower. Tv had 1-2 English channels so that’s appreciated. Location on Wua Lai street was good for exploring the busier side across. Staff were lovely and nice as well! The hotel lobby isn't particularly fancy, but it already has a very relaxing feel. The staff are warm and attentive, accommodating almost every request and responding quickly. The room was exactly as pictured, with every detail meticulously crafted. The sound system was fantastic; it could be used for a concert. The rooms and dining area were very clean. The living room was spacious and perfect. 👍 The pool was also a delight. The hot springs were truly relaxing, and our family loved them. The only drawback was that the entire villa is 3,000 square feet, while the upstairs bedroom is only about 40 square feet, which is a bit disproportionate. Overall, I highly recommend it.

The hotel has a great environment, provides parking, and is close to Nimman Road. It's a hotel converted from a private villa. The hotel receptionists were very welcoming and patiently explained the hotel's facilities and services. The restaurant is also very unique; we ordered some of their food on our first day. I highly recommend the Thai chef's basil rice, it was delicious! Towards the end of the meal, the chef even gave us complimentary orange juice. The hotel has eight rooms in total, and the rooms on the first floor have direct access to the hot springs. The only drawback is that the bathroom is a bit cramped, and the room's aisle is quite narrow. On our first day, we were upgraded to an executive suite. The lounge chairs in the room were very comfortable, and the room was spacious enough for families with children. The toiletries were also thoughtfully provided, including a loofah and a bath towel. The shower gel and shampoo were also good, with a unique fragrance, unlike the standard amenities of chain hotels. The hotel garden is beautiful and suitable for children to play in. The hotel also has cats. Families who like cats would also find it a good choice. Many of the decorations at the reception have a vintage feel, some of them possibly being antiques. Those with children should keep a close eye on them, as the hotel is quite new. It was the rainy season, so drying clothes was a bit inconvenient. It would have been perfect if the hotel offered laundry service. There were no mosquitoes in the room, which made it a pretty good hotel. I hope they maintain this and continue to improve! I would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends if I have the chance.

The hotel feels stuck in another era. Everything is dated and pale, with interiors that seem from the 1980s. The shower has separate hot and cold valves, weak pressure, and poor temperature control. Lighting in the bathroom is dim and cold, making it hard to see clearly. The beds are extremely hard. It took a few nights to get used to them, but they’re still uncomfortable. Some staff are polite, others quite rude. When I extended my stay, they couldn’t adjust the rate, so I had to rebook through Trip.com. Breakfast is mediocre, with limited edible options. The location is great, right by the night market and across from the Marriott. The gym is excellent and well equipped, probably the best part of the hotel. The terrace pool also looks nice. The place has good potential, but it feels like a ghost of what it once was. Many facilities are closed or underused. If they ever renovate it, it could become a top hotel again. For now, it’s an affordable but tired four-star at best.

While the two-night stay was satisfactory, there's room for improvement. The lobby staff should be trained to decline requests gracefully, offering alternative solutions. The room was smaller than I expected, roughly 12 square meters excluding the bathroom. The hotel caters to a lot of tour groups for meals, which made parking difficult during peak dining hours. However, they do have four parking lots and offer an electric buggy shuttle service. Plenty of restaurants are also within walking distance. Hotel also provide shuttle bus services to the city area for free, just need to book in advance. Most of the staffs are also friendly, especially the lady who work in the restaurant who patiently explain the specific Chinese new year buffet package. One downside is that it’s an Lanna style hotel to enjoy layback lifestyle or history building for IG photos. if you are looking for very modern building or swimming pools for sun bathing, you may need to find one within old town or other newer resort. We stayed 4 nights and although overall it was a good experience, we were happy to leave and move onto the next resort. The staff is very friendly and polite, however, the wait time to get clean pool towels or just toilet paper or water can be very long. For example, our pool towels didn’t dry overnight due to humidity and we called reception to bring us new ones and took over one hour. They didn’t place any more toilet paper or water when they did the room in the morning, so the next morning, we had to call reception again to ask for them. It’s obviously not a big deal as the resort is super busy so we understand there’s lot for the stuff to do, but those are basic things that are expected, especially considering the price. The buffet breakfast is ok, there’s lot of variety but the food is not exceptional, again, this is probably due to the mass production as the resort is super busy. Too many unsupervised kids, lounges too close to each other. Again, overall it’s ok but we have stayed at better resorts.

It's very convenient for reaching the beach and dining options, with shuttle boat services and paid tuk-tuks available. Upon check-in, a front desk staff member in a blue uniform initially assigned us a room at the very end of the secondary building. Although we had booked a lake view, the room's location meant we could hear motorcycles from the road and a noisy flock of birds in the garden downstairs. My booking notes were completely disregarded. I immediately called the front desk to request a room change, and a very kind and helpful staff member in a pink uniform then led us to a central room in the main building. The view from there was excellent; we could see both the lake and the distant sea right from our bed, and it was also very quiet. Many thanks to that lovely girl! This is our 2nd time in this resort. We returned to thia resort this year because we had a positive experience last year. This time, we noticed that there are signs of wear and tear in the 2-bedroom suite. Although the bath towels are cleaned but they are old, brownish, and torn at the edges. The hotel could have replaced these old towels with newer ones. Such old towels can be used as floor rags rather than bath towels in a resort with 5 star facilities. The wear and tear in the suite can be seen in drawer tracks and the door hinges of the wardrobe, but the facilities technicians were quick and responsive to our requests to fix the drawer tracks and door hinges. The Mai Tai alcoholic drink at Cica (Lounge) was too diluted and there was hardly any taste of alcohol compared the Mai Tai we had last year. I love the resort facilities and hope the resort can improve its bath towel standards and review the condition of its suite amenities

Especially suitable for people who come to Phuket to spend some time. The feeling of a local five-star hotel is that I feel it is just average on the first day, not as modern as an international chain, but after staying for a few days, I found it very convenient and friendly. The hotel's meals and the beautiful scenery of its cliff restaurant can be said to be the best hotel I have stayed in Phuket, because most hotels in Phuket say that the sea view rooms are not actually facing the sea. There is a very formal foot massage at the downhill of the hotel, 300 baht per hour. Every masseur is certified, it would be a pity if you don't go.

This hotel is a must stay place in Patong. Great value and wonderful staff that provide friendly and courteous service is followed up with excellent amenities and fabulous swimming pool with a swim up bar and a well equipped gym.  The location is also excellent as it’s situated in the heart of the fun district a stroll away from Bangla and surrounded by many authentic Thai restaurants and massage centres. It’s a quiet retreat in a busy town that offers the best of both worlds. The rooms are large. Clean and the bed oh so comfortable and as it’s one of the highest  buildings in Patong it offers amazing views from the mountains to the sea. Highly recommended and we will certainly be back.

Very clean and comfy rooms ! You really need to upgrade to pool Access to enjoy your stay. First building IS a bit close to the road so you Can hear the vehicles while in the pool but not in thé room so it's fine. It has Access to the sea but it's not really a convenient access . There's a beach bar to enjoy the view and and the sound of the waves

I booked this hotel mainly for my daughter’s birthday, drawn by the kids’ splash pool — but it was closed the entire week without any prior notice, explanation, or alternatives. This was a big letdown, as the pool was the main reason for choosing this hotel. On arrival, the lobby felt temporary and cheap, but it didn’t affect our stay. Our first room had a strong smoke smell despite a non-smoking request, though we were later moved to another clean, spacious, and comfortable room. Service and communication need improvement. The TV promoted spa services, but no one answered the phone. I went down personally, only to be sent to a closed spa. The service was eventually found in a guest room with just one masseur. Housekeeping was slow — an iron took over an hour — and room service also had long waits. We requested birthday decorations (not fulfilled), though a birthday cake was provided. Staff were friendly overall, especially at the restaurant. Despite these downsides, we still loved and enjoyed our stay — the room was very comfortable and made up for many of the disappointments.

We had a fantastic three-night stay in a pool access room. The breakfast spread was quite varied, with different dishes offered daily. If you're traveling with kids, this hotel is a definite win! Just outside the hotel, you'll find a smaller 7-Eleven to your left and a larger one to your right – take your pick. The local restaurants and massage parlors nearby are all excellent. The beach is a bit of a walk, about 10 minutes, but the hotel conveniently offers a shuttle service.

Burasari was a treat, just what I needed, it was calm and serene, just what I needed. The hotel stuff were amazing and helpful. A little bit far from the city but they offer transport to and from the pier. They also have a booking agent on the facilities in case you want to explore other Islands. It was a nature packed experience.

I spent an unforgettable 11 nights at Mandarava Resort and Spa, perched above Karon Beach. Over nearly two weeks, I discovered fresh delights each day, from sunrise yoga on the hillside to candlelit dinners overlooking the Andaman Sea. We will come back again next year.

Breakfast

Kata Beach Phuket|18.5km from downtown
This hotel has a lot of potential; however, it’s definitely not up to the standard of a 4-5 star establishment. The staff was incredibly rude, especially the restaurant staff at the Red Chopstick. We were not allowed to take food away from the restaurant, and the breakfast staff was very unprofessional. My wife was sitting sideways with one of her legs up, and a waitress touched her leg to ask her to put it down as if she were a child. This incident happened twice, which was both humiliating and extremely disrespectful. It’s disappointing because we see potential in this hotel—the rooms are simply beautiful. However, the staff lacks manners and absolutely does not know how to cater to their customers, which is not up to a 4-5 star standard. Additionally, the room access is inconvenient; they should have a shuttle service to the rooms. I personally will not be visiting this hotel again. I do hope they take our criticism seriously and make the necessary improvements.

Exceptional Service and Comfortable Stay I absolutely love this hotel! Every time we used the ”Do Not Disturb” button, the housekeeper respected our privacy and left a thoughtful note, ensuring we knew when she would return to clean the room. We never felt forgotten. The entire hotel staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Alex, the trainee, went above and beyond to ensure we had a baby chair and utensils, always greeting us with a smile and making our stay incredibly pleasant. Special thanks to Bovwy for suggesting trips around Phuket that catered to our needs as travelers with a baby. The hotel manager was also incredibly accommodating, especially considering my husband's tendency to wake up late for breakfast. He even invited us to participate in New Year Blessings from Moncks. Overall, this hotel provided an exceptional experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable accommodations and outstanding service.

We stayed for one night on our way to Koh Phi Phi. Good location for the port. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool looked nice, we didn't get to swim as we arrived fairly late in the evening. The buffet breakfast was fine.

I've been to Phuket 4-5 times, and this is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at. I did a lot of research before coming, so let me share my insights. 1. **The steep slope at the hotel entrance** Personally, I was completely fine with it. Even in flip-flops, it wasn't hard to walk, and I always took a motorbike right outside, so it didn't bother me at all. (If you're traveling with elderly people or children, I recommend taking a taxi for convenience.) 2. **Are Chinese guests treated differently?** Absolutely not. The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were incredibly patient. They proactively asked if I wanted to store my luggage and offered towels so I could relax by the pool while waiting. (Even if you don't speak English, you can rest assured. Even if you do speak English, they'll communicate with you in Chinese, and their explanations are very clear, so there are no communication difficulties.) 3. **Compared to other hotels with more prime locations, the geographical advantage here is slightly weaker.** However, the interior is very new, the water pressure from the taps is excellent, and the hot water doesn't cut out. It's also very quiet at night, so I got a great rest. All in all, I had a very satisfying holiday here, and I hope this helps anyone planning to visit!

Mai Kao Beach Phuket|17.78km from downtown
The hotel is a bit dated. Although the common areas use central air conditioning, our smaller room had an individual AC unit. It was incredibly noisy, making it hard to sleep, and definitely needs replacing. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel's overall environment was okay. However, try to avoid the side near the corridor, as there's an unfinished building that looks quite eerie. There are two Thai restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the hotel entrance, one to the left and one to the right. The one on the left is better and accepts WeChat Pay, though it charges a 3% service fee. We chose this hotel mainly for its proximity to the airport, as we had a Similan Islands day trip scheduled for the next day. Staying here allowed us to wake up at least an hour later than if we had stayed at beaches like Patong. We also noticed many flight attendants staying at the hotel during breakfast.
