【Environment & Service】 We picked Rosewood mainly because of its great location. It was super close to where we needed to be for our appointments. Plus, it’s near Canton Tower and directly connected to K11, which made it really convenient to just pop downstairs for shopping or meals. The room had a moody, dimly lit vibe mixed with modern Chinese touches—stylish and cozy. There were lots of clever little design details, like a calligraphy brush that doubles as a stylus when you remove the tip. My kid absolutely loved that! During our stay, the staff were patient, friendly, and pretty quick to respond. The service matched what you’d expect at this price point—nothing over the top, but definitely solid. It felt like, ”Yeah, it’s good, but no big surprises.” 【Highly Recommend】 The hotel’s breakfast buffet was the highlight for my little one. There was a great variety of food—fresh and tasty. Best of all, we got to enjoy the city view while eating. The seating was well spaced, so it never felt crowded or noisy. We really enjoy the breakfast and had such good time . 【Safety Hazard】 The only downside was the bathroom layout—it’s a bit of a safety issue. There are two very low steps between the bathroom entrance and the shower area. Both my kid and I almost tripped. Even though there’s a non-slip strip on the floor as a warning, it doesn’t help much. Just a heads-up—be careful when you walking in. 【Heads-Up! Skip Lunch at the Western Restaurant】 Since we were short on time, we had lunch at the same restaurant where breakfast is served. It’s à la carte for lunch, and the experience was just okay. The food was nothing special, and the staff seemed busy but not very attentive—it was hard to get their attention. Our lobster pasta took over 40 minutes to arrive, and no one warned us about the wait. My kid got so hungry, he ended up filling up on bread. By the time the pasta came, he was already full. Unless you’re really into the enviroment, otherwise I'm really not recommend.

This time we chose the Four Seasons for our family trip, and honestly, it was a bit underwhelming. The facilities are indeed excellent, with great attention to detail, and the housekeeping staff was responsive and very polite. I had originally booked a Deluxe City View Twin Room. The front desk offered an upgrade to a room with a view of the Canton Tower for an extra 699, so I casually asked if a free upgrade was possible. Their response felt very stiff; they said no, stating that you only get the Canton Tower view if you upgrade. To be honest, when I stayed at the Rosewood, I booked a room directly facing the Canton Tower, so it's not like I haven't seen it before. Since I was already there, I was fine with paying the extra, but their rigid response left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't experience any of the concierge service that others mentioned in reviews; I guess they were just too busy due to the National Day holiday. What was even more unbelievable was the F&B department. We had two breakfasts included. My husband went down alone to eat and tried to pack some for me. A server from the F&B department not only lectured him but also stared intently, which was a first for me. I mean, we had two breakfasts included! This kind of service is just *fantastic*... The two stars I gave for service are solely for the housekeeping department.

1. First, the ambiance: quiet, secluded, and peaceful. Even the basic room types are very spacious, and all the toiletries and amenities are top-tier brands. The room was spotless, and the insect repellent measures were very effective. The balcony is large, and the high ceilings give a sense of openness. Thanks to the hotel's expansive grounds, the mountains surrounding the balcony are breathtaking. 2. Dining: All the restaurants met our expectations. The Chinese, Western, and bar options each had their unique charm. The service was excellent, and crucially, the kitchens were spotlessly clean and transparent. The dishes showcased the original flavors, without excessive additives. Breakfast was varied, and we could scan a QR code to order personalized items. The service at all the restaurants was a big plus. 3. Hot Springs: The hot springs are a must-try. The six pools were exquisite, clear, and sparkling. Someone was always on hand to offer ginger tea. By booking in advance and avoiding peak times, we practically had the place to ourselves. The changing rooms were dry and odor-free, and we even spotted little squirrels. We didn't try the swimming pool this time, but it looked large and the water quality seemed good. 4. Because the hotel has a limited number of rooms overall, it never felt crowded, whether at the restaurants or the recreational facilities, even during holidays. I especially want to commend and thank the staff who operate the golf carts. What seems like repetitive and tedious work, they managed to perform with smiles, courtesy, and enthusiasm during a holiday period – that's truly commendable. 5. The entire hotel is well-maintained. The fixtures, elevator, and internal roads all show signs of enduring the test of time. It's not one of those trendy, 'Instagrammable' hotels known for wide-angle industrial-style photos. 6. A minor flaw (personal opinion): When discussing our basic room requirements with Trip.com in advance, they were all met. However, when I asked about a potential upgrade if the room status allowed, there was a somewhat forced emphasis on the price difference and standard rhetoric. While they were just following protocol, it felt a bit stiff. In contrast, the front desk manager who checked us in (I forgot her name, but it was around noon on September 30th) was generous and enthusiastic in introducing the resort and offering recommendations for tours. She made a great first impression. This stay allowed me to experience a sense of escaping the hustle and bustle. You don't have to actively seek seclusion to relax here; it's simply less crowded, clean, and spacious. Traveling during off-peak times with a package deal also offered good value for money.

Taking advantage of the National Day holiday, we brought our child to Guangzhou and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, which significantly enhanced our trip! Right from check-in, we experienced the hotel's thoughtful and attentive service. We had read some reviews beforehand and were prepared for a wait, but the check-in process was incredibly smooth. The bellboy at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage, and we were offered tea while waiting. Seeing we had a child, they even brought us bottled water. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised and touched to find that the hotel had already prepared children's slippers and toiletries for us. We were also very satisfied with the hotel's room service. The cleaning staff kept our room spotless, even neatly folding clothes we had left casually and organizing small items on the table. The Chinese breakfast section offered fresh, high-quality ingredients and a good variety of dishes. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were very friendly. We were also lucky with the weather, and our child went to the pool almost every day of our stay. Although the outdoor pool wasn't large, the water was remarkably clean, which is quite rare. Finally, when we were waiting for our car to leave, a staff member stayed with us, chatting, which was very heartwarming. This experience was perfect, and we thank the Mandarin Oriental for creating wonderful memories for our family of three in Guangzhou ❤️

The facilities are modern and well-equipped. Cleanliness was impeccable. The environment was comfortable and inviting, offering a very pleasant experience, with expansive views from our high-floor room. It's conveniently located right next to the Provincial Museum, just a two to three-minute walk away. Service was excellent; the staff were very attentive, friendly, and meticulous. Breakfast offered a wide and delicious variety of options.

The room was bright and comfortable, with an unobstructed view of the Canton Tower and a beautiful nightscape 🤩. It had a smart toilet, and the twin beds could be combined into one large bed. The à la carte breakfast options were excellent 👍, a definite plus. The afternoon tea had a huge selection of pastries for just over 400 RMB, directly facing the Canton Tower. We also experienced the Yueyi Children's Fun - Lingnan themed cultural handicraft experience. After we finished our crafts, they even gave us a gift for the child, which was a nice touch 👍. It was very quiet at night. Highly recommended. The service follow-up was even more satisfying, especially Lily, who took meticulous care of us – she deserves extra praise! 🍗 Plus, the swimming pool was fantastic with an unbeatable view.

It's rare to find an urban oasis like this in the heart of the city 🌳 The lobby is grand and features beautiful fresh flowers, just how I like them. As soon as you enter, someone is there to greet you and help with your luggage all the way to your room. The two-story floor-to-ceiling windows are incredibly artistic, perfect for enjoying the view and taking photos. The best part for me is having my favorite Bose sound system! 🎶 I truly love just relaxing in the hotel, chatting, and listening to music. 🛎️ Upon check-in, you receive complimentary fruit, and in the evening, they even deliver sweet soup as a turndown service. If you order takeout, a staff member will personally bring it to your room. The toiletries are ginger-scented, and the hairdryer is a Dyson – definitely a bonus! My first stay at Jumeirah was fantastic, and I'll definitely be back!
