This property boasts two main advantages: Firstly, its excellent location and high floor, situated on the city's central axis, offering expansive views. Our tower-view suite provided simultaneous views of both the Canton Tower and the IFC. Secondly, the privacy is outstanding; the suites feature private elevator access directly to your suite (see Fig 5), meaning you barely need to remember your room number. However, there's significant room for improvement regarding the service. The sky lobby is located on the 68th floor, but accessing the elevators requires a staff member from the ground floor arrival lobby to swipe a key card. At the time, the front desk staff member responsible for the key card was constantly on the phone, and the concierge couldn't assist. After waiting for a considerable period, we had no choice but to follow another guest up. Surprisingly, our room's bathroom was missing hand towels (see Fig 13). According to standard procedure, housekeeping supervisors inspect rooms after cleaning, and only once approved are they released for guest check-in. Yet, such a glaring oversight occurred, suggesting the secondary inspection was merely a formality. This is highly unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.

When I booked, I thought the Rosewood Hotel and Residences were connected, but I only realized they were separate upon check-in. The Residences are more like serviced apartments, sharing the gym, pool, and restaurant facilities. I booked a room directly facing the Canton Tower, and the view was absolutely unbeatable. However, the front desk service was quite mediocre; I didn't feel any proactive service attitude from them. Other than the great view, overall, it didn't leave a particularly special impression.

The Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou offers a truly unique experience, one I've never encountered at any other hotel – the experience of being treated like a thief! Around 2:30 PM on December 5th, I arrived at the hotel lobby. The front desk staff told me my room wasn't ready and asked me to wait. I mentioned my phone was out of battery and I was about to go out with friends. So, front desk staff A offered to charge my phone at the front desk. I left my phone there and went to the restroom. When I returned, my phone was plugged in, and I had to stand in the position shown in picture 1. Fearing I might bother other guests, I only stood there for a short while before moving away to wander around the lobby. When it was time for me to leave, I returned to the front desk. At this point, another guest was standing directly in front of the desk, so I had to stand to the side to call a taxi on my phone (position in picture 2). That's when employee B, who was standing in the lobby, came over and asked if I needed help. Before I could even answer, he accused me of standing there to peek at other guests' privacy. Wow, wow, even if I tried to pick a fight, I couldn't come up with such an insulting method! It was truly novel, and I, the blogger, was momentarily speechless. All I could say was that I didn't want to stand there either; if my room were ready, I wouldn't need to stand there charging my phone. The employee then retreated without a word, no apology, not even a simple ”okay.” I had to ask other staff what position they had assigned this person to. I don't recall any hotel having a position dedicated to supervising guests to see if they're peeking at computers. Even if I weren't a hotel guest, just standing there to use a power strip, is such behavior serious enough to warrant an accusation of peeking at others' privacy? Do I need to explain again that from my angle, I couldn't even see the computer screen? And going back to the beginning, it wasn't my idea to plug my phone in at the front desk, was it? I've already written their excuses for them here: ”It was busy that day, the room wasn't ready, the employee was just doing their job, we apologize for the bad experience~” I only have one question: which of these reasons leads to accusing a guest of peeking at customer privacy on a work computer?? Under normal circumstances, a guest really shouldn't stand in that spot, but first and foremost, the hotel employee told me to charge my phone there, which is why I was standing there. Secondly, if that person had just come over and said I was blocking the way, I wouldn't have been so angry. Why jump straight to such a bizarre accusation? Forget about respecting hotel guests, did they even show me the respect a normal citizen deserves? All I can say is run! With this money, where else wouldn't be better? At this price point, are there really any hotels with significantly worse facilities? I didn't feel a shred of welcome; I only felt like my booking displeased them, infringing on other guests' privacy or adding to their burden. For those who enjoy causing themselves trouble, I highly recommend this hotel! 👍🏻

Great location! If you opt for a tower-view room, you can see the Canton Tower. We chose an older room type, and the bathroom was a bit subpar. The TV was immovably placed, blocking the best photo spot. The front desk mentioned there are new room types under construction, expected to be completed in the first half of 2025. We chose the old room type partly because we were concerned about potential ventilation issues in the new ones. Might consider trying a new room type on a future visit. The pool is 22m, which is quite short and not ideal for serious swimming, but perfect for photos. If you go at 8 AM, you can have the whole pool to yourself. There's also a sauna (both wet and dry). Overall, it was a good experience!

Congdu International is a beautiful estate nestled within the city. It's incredibly spacious, so you'll rely on golf carts to get around the grounds, otherwise, you'd be walking forever. This time, I stayed in a 109-square-meter Type A suite. The suite is quite luxurious and grand, consisting of a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet. My favorite part was the private outdoor garden with its pavilions, flowing water, and the sounds of birds and blooming flowers. The service was absolutely excellent. Before arrival, they called to ask about my preferences and estimated arrival time, ensuring the room was ready beforehand. Every time I called for a golf cart, it arrived promptly. The complimentary mini-bar drinks and fruit were plentiful – more than I could possibly consume. The Western section of the buffet breakfast was superb, with high-quality smoked salmon, corned beef, three types of cheese, and various mixed vegetables. You could also choose from different egg preparations. Since there weren't many people during my visit, the hot spring pools and indoor/outdoor swimming pools offered a great experience. In a word, it was a perfect stay.

This hotel was quite satisfactory, excelling in its facilities, services, and even the restaurant's food. **Facilities:** They offer bike rentals, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, hot springs, tennis courts, and golf, which is quite comprehensive. However, I felt it wasn't quite enough; if you come in winter, there doesn't seem to be much to do besides the hot springs. **Cleanliness:** Very clean. Neither the rooms nor the outdoor paths had any dust or fallen leaves. **Environment:** This was exceptionally good. The woods were lush and green everywhere you looked, and the air was fresh and crisp. I imagine the negative ion count would be even higher after a rain. **Service:** Also outstanding, with a butler-style service where calls were answered immediately. However, parts of the hotel were undergoing renovation, so there were workers moving around. Additionally, some workers would pass by the corridors outside guests' floor-to-ceiling windows for work-related reasons, which compromised privacy.

I stayed at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou for one night and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, although the TV size and limited channel selection could be improved. I also received a complimentary room upgrade, which I appreciated, but the room was quite close to the tunnel, so some noise could still be heard at night. The staff were detailed, friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. During checkout, the front desk even checked on my staying experience and noted down my feedback in their system for future stays, which I found thoughtful. The location is excellent, directly connected to Taikoo Hui and the MRT station, which made getting around very convenient. One downside was the spa voucher included in my stay package. Due to my tight schedule, I wasn’t able to use it, so I requested to exchange it for breakfast instead, but the hotel was unable to accommodate the request. It would be great if the voucher usage could be more flexible in the future. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and convenience, with just a few points that could be improved.

Facilities: Absolutely beautiful, the interior decor is very tasteful and high-end Chinese style. The bathtub is super large and comfortable. Both the bar and restaurant are excellent and very new. Environment: The lobby is really cramped and there's no seating... I suggest expanding it. Everything else is perfect, and it's right next to Taikoo Hui. Service: Very enthusiastic, they prepared an anniversary celebration cake for us. The service was fantastic throughout, especially the gentleman at the newly opened bar who was spot on. I highly recommend everyone to go to Liang for cocktails and ask for Ivan~ :)

This is my second stay at the Park Hyatt within a year. The excellent location and incredibly thoughtful service make for a truly reassuring stay. Being able to gaze at the beautiful Pearl River scenery right outside your window, without even leaving the room, remains a memorable highlight of this hotel. I wish the Park Hyatt booming business and increasing prosperity!

I was under the weather for a few days due to the changing weather and spent quite some time in the hotel. Avery was very attentive, arranging breakfast and sweet soup for me, which made me feel very cared for. The hotel facilities are also excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Our stay at the Rosewood Guangzhou was a great experience! Winston from Guest Relations contacted us before check-in to coordinate everything, and he even arranged a wonderful room with a fantastic view for us in advance. The floor-to-ceiling windows were huge, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. For our anniversary, they surprised us with a beautiful small cake. The Japanese restaurant on the 107th floor was both beautiful and delicious! A big thank you to the service team, Sophia, Julie, Zilia, and Bessie, for their quiet dedication, and to Manager Vera for her efficient communication. We'll definitely be back for another stay! ✌🏻

I celebrated my birthday at the Rosewood, and the hotel arranged a cake and a birthday card, which I really appreciated. The location and service are both excellent. No matter what floor you're on or what time of day, whenever you encounter staff, they'll greet you with, ”Hello, is there anything I can help you with?” It's very attentive, and I had a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely bring my family back again.

This is my third time here. Hygiene: The room was clean and tidy, and I really liked the decor style. Service: The bellboy proactively helped with luggage, and the staff were very polite and had a great attitude. Environment: The Christmas tree didn't seem as impressive as those in other luxury hotels. The entrance itself isn't very large, and there were influencers taking photos there, making it a bit crowded. Breakfast: A lot of people were at breakfast, and we had to queue every time. The selection was quite rich, but it would have been even better if they had salmon.

I stayed here for my birthday, and they surprised me with cakes two days in a row! **Ambiance:** The location is excellent and very convenient. **Cleanliness:** It's clean, and the bed is super comfortable. **Facilities:** There are many dining options within the hotel. **Service:** Absolutely fantastic. They proactively reached out to offer a discount, never moved my luggage without permission, and the breakfast was superb. They even recommended some great local restaurants.

I first came across this hotel while taking a stroll along the riverside, and its exterior immediately caught my eye. With the National Games and Flower Expo happening, I specifically chose to stay here. To my surprise, the Lingnan-style room and its ambiance were even more beautiful and comfortable than what the photos on the platform suggested. The staff made me feel incredibly welcome. A special thanks to Mr. Leung at the front desk for upgrading my room free of charge and for thoroughly explaining all the hotel's amenities. I also appreciate the various gifts from the hotel. Having a balcony and a bathtub in the room is something we Hong Kongers absolutely love, and my balcony even offered a view of the Canton Tower – I was thrilled! This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Guangzhou. 😊😊

We were upgraded to a river-view suite. The living room was very spacious, perfect for relaxing and watching TV. However, the bedroom itself was on the smaller side, with the bed taking up most of the space. The room layout felt a bit odd, with several inexplicably added doors along the hallway and connecting corridor. This might be a good option for couples or friends traveling together, but perhaps less ideal for families with young children. The gym and pool area were not very large, which is something I personally prioritize. Compared to other high-end hotels, these facilities were slightly underwhelming, although the view from the pool was quite nice. Breakfast was decent, nothing special but perfectly acceptable. The location is fantastic, with free parking available, and it's within walking distance to the central business district.

I've probably stayed at Jumeirah Guangzhou almost 30 times, and I've also stayed at other luxury hotels in Guangzhou. Every time I come back here, it feels especially warm and inviting. The service from the front desk staff during check-in, the concierge, and the housekeeping team is exceptional; you can really feel their genuine sincerity. The location is excellent; while it might not be the absolute best in Guangzhou, it's still very good. The service is beyond reproach, and the facilities are great. If I had to pick something to criticize, it would be that the room was too cold and the breakfast didn't have many options, though the quality was good.

The hotel service is exceptional. They called me in advance to understand my needs, and there was someone in the lobby to help with luggage. Every staff member greeted me with a warm smile. I'm especially grateful to the front desk staff for upgrading my room. The room itself was spacious, with a very soft bed, great views, and comprehensive amenities. They even delivered my takeout order directly to the room. Breakfast was a combination of à la carte and buffet style, and the afternoon tea, which requires advance booking, was quite good. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

I booked the room through Ctrip and got a room upgrade, which the hotel honored as promised. There's an exclusive lounge for VIP guests, which saved us from queuing. While checking in, my child could look at picture books and watch cartoons nearby, so they weren't bored. The floor just outside our room felt a bit sticky, and the cleaning staff promptly came to clean it. My child stays up late, so after the park closed, we checked off the birthday stamp and took photos with the treasure hunt bear. It was our birthday month. I heard there are special perks on the actual birthday, but the butler still gave us a souvenir, which was a nice touch! ✌️ By the way, a quick note on the three parks: 1. The Happy World is a bit old; 1-2 hours is enough to explore it. 2. Bird Park requires a short ride to get there, and it's also a bit old, but the variety of birds is impressive. Half a day is sufficient. 3. The Wildlife Park is the best one. I recommend spending two days there. Every day, we ran into student field trip groups 😂

After visiting Chimelong Zhuhai in 2019, endless pandemic controls began. This year, I suddenly saw Chimelong Guangzhou on a variety show, so I took advantage of a Ctrip promotion to book this Panda Hotel, located within the Chimelong park itself. The hotel room rate included unlimited passes to four major parks, which was a huge plus. There's a free shuttle bus within the park, though I have to say the Bird Paradise was quite a distance away. The hotel room wasn't large, but it was kept very clean. Some areas were under renovation during my stay, but the noise and dust control were excellent. Even with many people checking in and out simultaneously, the staff managed everything efficiently. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Overall, for a hotel near the Chimelong scenic area, the value for money is exceptional.
