The couple who run the business are very friendly and helpful and, if you don't want to eat out, they offer good and tasty home cooking.

Fun experience staying in a tulou! As the listing says, it's a shared bathroom outside the tulou structure and a plastic bucket outside your room if you need to pee in the middle of the night and don't want to go out far. Bring your own toilet paper and soap just in case they've run out in the shared bathrooms. The room itself was nice and ours on the top floor had a window. Power and wifi worked great. 位置好是最大的優點，出門過馬路就能見海，金鑾灣能見日出，觀日出位置絕佳，晚上海灘邊的綠化帶的燈不亮，晚上建議不要去這裏的海邊，晚上附近沒什麼好逛的，建議傍晚和晚上在南門灣逛。房屋乾淨，被子乾淨，陽台能見到海，配套設施齊全，一間正規房間，兩間小間，三室性價比很高。這棟樓的樓梯和電梯衞生有待提高。停車停在小區內比停在地下車庫便宜，但晚上門衞見是外地車就不讓停小區內了。東山島吃的普遍比較貴。房東能及時回覆，服務到位。
