This is a lovely boutique hotel with just a few rooms. Only about 100 metres from Firostefani in one direction and about 500m from Fira in the other. The hotel is up a slope that looks out over the east of the island, so gets the sunrise every morning. The room is large with good facilities - fridge, terrace, comfortable bed and seating. The bathroom is tasteful and a good shower. The owners were brilliant - very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. I had a great stay and would recommend!

Wow! Everything about this hotel is great. Location is perfect as you can get to Fira by foot within 5-8 minutes, to Imerovigli by foot, albeit uphill and all over the island. Rooms are really really clean a spacious. We stayed in a superior sea view room and were not disappointed (see pictures) But what makes this hotel is the very friendly and helpful staff, all of them! They will go out of their way to help you. We had a flight at 7pm so had to check out at 11. They offered us a place to put out luggage, rest, have a shower, drink until our taxi arrived. Never had this from a hotel before! Pool is small but great for a dip when the weather is hot! Can’t recommend it enough.

Afrodete was found by me, after lengthy research of hotels on Santorini. What a find this was! Angeliki is a super-friendly manager, who obviously loves her job and is so welcoming and helpful to guests. She arranged our caldera boat tour, and also our transport from the ferry and back to the ferry on our departure. The adherence to Covid regulations is faultless. Masks must be worn indoors. Cleanliness of the rooms and entire hotel is immaculate. We had a fabulous, spacious room with a balcony (drying rack for clothes), 2 chairs and a table- with a view of the sea. The bathroom was superb, with modern fittings and a great shower. The whole room is fitted out for the convenience of guests, with beautiful wooden shelves, plenty of plugs and lights, plus a flat-screen TV. Croissants and coffee, tea are provided for breakfast. The jacuzzi is an extra plus - with surrounding loungers, where guests can relax and cool down after a hot day of sight-seeing The hotel is not on the caldera side, but literally a 5-minute walk to the caldera view, hotels on that side which cost up to 4 times as much! The location is perfect - a pathway leads to the main town of Fira, where buses run frequently to all parts of the island. Firostefani, where the hotel is located, is a quaint village with superb views of the caldera. It is quieter than Fira, hence the ideal spot to stay. Many tavernas with spectacular caldera views are within a short walking distance. If ever on Santorini again, Afrodete will be our first choice! Thank you, Angeliki, for the wonderful hospitality.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera superior per 3 notti. Stanza spaziosa e pulita, con un bellissimo terrazzo vista mare. La piccola piscina con idromassaggio è sicuramente un valore aggiunto, molto apprezzata al ritorno da una calda giornata d'estate. Di fronte all'hotel è presente un comodo parcheggio. Titolare e personale molto gentili e pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Consigliatissimo!
