Our 7 weeks tour in Western Cape started as always in anchor bay guesthouse, Beth and Burt became friends. There guesthouse is one of the best, and meanwhile we stayed at a lot of guesthouses en B&B's. Rooms are nice with a wonderful bay view. Good restaurants in the neighborhood. Nice walks on the sea side. Waterfront, we do walking in 50 minutes. With Uber it cost you 30 Rand. Airport with Uber is 160R. You really don't need a car if you stay here. Free wine and nespresso coffee. you can make a simple breakfast yourself.(buy at Woolwoords) Or downhill many opportunities to have breakfast for less than 50R (3€) There is a bus stop near by, ask Burt for facilities. 15 minutes walk for the red hup on hup off buss at Mouilles point. we mostly do.
