I stayed 5 days in Bremen–Vegesack and can only praise this property for my comfortable stay. This hotel was recommended to me, so I’m glad it fulfilled all of my needs and expectations. Staff were EXCELLENT, from reception to housekeeping to restaurant staff. My standard single room was located next to the stairs, so I heard some heavy footsteps every so often, but otherwise, the area was quiet. The room was clean and had everything I needed (except for one thing, see below) including strong wifi, a deep tub for soaking after a long day of exploring, and mini fridge. I had trouble sleeping my first night (the room didn’t get warm enough even though the heater was on the highest level) but the reception desk gave me an extra blanket and all was well thereafter! The only downside was the lack of in-room coffee/tea service. I woke up very early, so getting coffee required getting dressed and heading down to the lobby. For the first two mornings, the machine was off and the front-desk person had to turn it on, which meant waiting for the machine to warm up before it could produce a hot beverage. Thankfully, on my third and final mornings, the machine was already on and it just took a couple of minutes to get my coffee. The breakfast spread was plentiful and had a wide variety for different palates. Hotel location was perfect for shopping, finding places to eat, the train station, etc. I really enjoyed my stay here (maybe I’ll invest in a travel percolator next time?) and would recommend the hotel to others.

Sehr nettes aufmerksames Personal, Zimmer im 4.Stock zum Hof sind etwas klein aber ruhig gelegen. Bad und Zimmer sehr sauber. Als die 2 Damen an der Rezeption sahen, dass wir Raucher sind wurde uns ein Raucherzimmer angeboten, kurz nach dem einchecken getauscht. Das Frühstücksbüfett war immer reichlich bestückt und sofort alles nachgefüllt. Wir waren mit einer Reisegruppe dort und wurden mit leckerem Abendessen bestens versorgt. Wir können es bestens empfehlen.
