This voco is a standard below the rest. The ammenities that are required for a voco hotel are not offered and they have a price tag. I think IHG needs to inspect and re-allign themselves with this property. This is an embarassment to the brand. I recently visited this location and the front desk associate had no clue as to what a diamond member should receive or a guest off the street. I was very disappointed as to the lack of knowledge anyone there had. I can not remember the ladies name, but she was a manager of some sort and was quite frankly the rudiest human i have ever come across. She was not interested in helping; only having to go get her child. This place is not a voco rated hotel.

Wir nutzten das Hotel auf der Durchreise. Der Check In verlief sehr freundlich und mit den nötigsten Informationen. Das Zimmer war mit zwei großen Einzelbetten ausgestattet, wie oft in Amerika üblich. Der Fußboden war dunkel und gefühlt schon etwas älter. Es gab eine Nespressomaschine und einen ungefüllten Minikühlschrank. Als Sitzgelegenheit gab es nur einen Bürostuhl am Schreibtisch sowie einen Sessel. Die Dusche war in die Badewanne integriert, auf dem Waschtisch war genügend Ablagefläche. Der Parkplatz war kostenlos und es gab separate Flächen für Diamond Mitglieder. Zusätzlich verfügt das Hotel über einen kleinen Pool sowie einen Fitnessraum. Die Lage ist ca. 2km vom Fort in Saint Augustine entfernt. Frühstück gibt es von 7 bis 10 Uhr und war in unserem Fall inkludiert. Zur Wahl stehen vier Gerichte zwischen 11 und 13 $ zzgl. Steuer und Trinkgeld. Ich wählte das Breakfast Sandwich. Ich konnte dabei zwischen einem Bagel oder Croissant wählen sowie ob Schinken oder Wurst. Ich entschied mich für ein Bagel mit Schinken. Dazu gab es Kartoffelstücke. Das Ei kam in Form von Rührei und war bereits auf dem Bagel platziert. Anfangs dachte ich, ob ich wohl satt werden würde? Aber es passte. Die Kartoffeln ignorierte ich. Dazu gab es Saft. Überraschenderweise wurde die „kostenlose“ Rechnung serviert und somit sahen wir uns genötigt Trinkgeld zu geben. Komische Angewohnheit für uns Deutsche.

The Voco Hotel in St. Augustine is a luxurious, intimate boutique property, conveniently located just across the Bridge of Lions. It’s only a 3-minute drive to Historic St. Augustine and 5 minutes from the beach, offering the perfect balance between history and relaxation. Our experience was enhanced by Caleb at the front desk, who kindly upgraded our room due to our platinum status. We were thrilled when we stepped into our room, which was clean, spacious, and lived up to the Voco brand’s high standards. Additionally, Creig, the bartender, made our evening even more special by surprising us with champagne and offering to assist with anything we needed during our stay. The pool area was also a highlight, boasting a fantastic view that added to the overall ambiance. In short, I highly recommend the Voco Hotel if you’re visiting St. Augustine.

Awful service. Needing to leave a review on TripAdvisor as not responding to my emails or even recognizing my booking confirmation that I stayed for 3 nights to write a review directly on their website. Please…. My only advice is to find somewhere else in St Augustine to stay. Overall. Failed to confirm booking and had to chase for 2weeks to be sure I had booked. Over charged me by $350 compared to friends for the same room type and dates. Lack of water in the bathrooms. Very noisy and unable to sleep. Unable to address any issues at time as no manager present during my 3 night stay. Failed to respond to email. Absolutely no reply. Unable to write review about hotel on their website as denied I even stayed. Only good point is they do have parking…. Otherwise I’m struggling.

If they call this the historic district, we wouldn't. Your over the bride south of all the activity and have to drive over the bridge. The staff was very nice. Not a nice breakfast area in our opinion, so we got in the car and drove to the historic district.
