No elevator

It’s a great place to stay. But when a family emergency comes up and you have to leave past check out don’t expect to get a refund for the day your not going to be there

Clean room, pleasant staff, and great location, an oasis in a generally rural region of Michigan's "Thumb".

Only place close by traveling but was a nice place with a restaurant attached.

We visit the property every year. We find it offers value for the price, staff friendly and helpful, facility very clean, attached and nearby restaurants are good. Nice breakfast. Seasonal Decorations are a nice touch.

Friendly people but my bathroom there was blood on the toilet seat lid a little on the wall in the corner by the tub

Altho the room was clean, furnishings were dated and uncomfortable. Included breakfast left something to be desired, but restaurant next door was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There is a reason the town is called bad axe apparently. The room smelled dirty. The wallpaper was peeling off the room in spots. I ordered 2 hamburgers from the restaurant and waited an hour for the food and didn't even get a discount as the waitress ran to another table. She just gave me the receipt, said sign it and walked away. There was hardly any breakfast. Coffee, breads and some hardboiled eggs. I would not recommed staying here.

Being in the travel business for 24 years and visiting more than 100 hotels globally I can tell you this is one of the worst. I wont go into the details about everything but I will say this was one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed in.
