孤鷹旅館(Lone Eagle Lodge)

Small independent hotel in Grand Lake. We stayed on New Year’s Eve so we could see the fireworks on the lake. It is not fancy but clean and no contact check in ( our code for the room and lobby was texted and emailed to us). The bed was not very comfortable but okay. Very close to the lake and restaurants (walking distance). Only a couple miles outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park

The microwave was dirty. The front door was insulated poorly. The bed was close to the front door and could feel the cold air coming through tdoor.

We were so very glad we stayed at the Lone Eagle Lodge in Grand Lake. First of all, the rooms are exceptionally clean, which is always my #1 priority. The decor is charming and fits with the lodge/mountain style of the area. We had two rooms, which was very nice when traveling with another couple, and they were more than spacious enough for our needs. The bathroom and shower are not large, but do the job. The owners were so very friendly and accommodating. Parking is convenient; easy in and easy out. Grand Lake has a significantly more relaxed a**osphere than Estes Park. It is a wonderful place to get away from large crowds. You can easily walk to all of the main shops, restaurants, and the lake from the motel. We would love to come back, and will absolutely chose the Lone Eagle Lodge.

We so enjoyed our stay at Lone Eagle Lodge. The lodge is well located right where the town begins. Lake and all shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away, and yet the place is really quiet at night. Our family of four got a room with two separate bedrooms, just perfect for our needs, and very reasonably priced even in high season. Everything was so clean, and the new, very friendly and down-to-earth owners have made sure that the room has all necessary amenities - coffee maker, fridge, microwave, toiletries etc. All in great condition. The Rocky Mountain National Park entrance was only a five minutes drive away, which made the park easily accessible even for evening drives. We felt lucky to stay at Lone Eagle Lodge and will definitely be back next time.

We came to see RMNP but enjoyed so much more by staying at the Lone Eagle Lodge in Grand Lake. Basic hotel, but everything you would need and more. Room very clean and new owners making all kinds of improvements. Cute town, mountain views and amazing lake with a beach and marina. What more could you want. Hidden gem. Thank you.

The hotel is run by kind and considerate owners. It is also very clean- one of the cleanest places I've stayed. It's also right at the start of the boardwalk, which means everything is walkable- restaurants, ice cream, playground, mini golf, etc. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to our next one!
