Where to start… I’m pretty surprised how many little bad reviews there are. This was a birthday celebration for friends and to say we paid just short of £2000 below is a list of things i was not happy with. - I will start with the worst part.. should be mentioned before booking that the host lives literally on the site with you facing onto all the yurts a few feet away. 0 PRIVACY, when me and my friends were in the hot tub at the other end of the campsite we were told by the host to turn the music off and instead listen to the birds. This really killed our mood as we love our music and it wasn’t even loud. She mentioned the villages around us and there is nobody at all around it is in the middle of no where on the side of a road in the fields! - 0 lights at all around site only some dim fairy lights so make sure you take lighting with you if needed. - One cabin out of 12 or however many there is with a plug socket, we had to leave camp to go a buy extension leads. To say you charge so much you definitely have enough money to have a generator of some sort fitted on site. - Kitchen comes equipped with one extremely small pan and no hot water supply. Personally would not stay here again. However had a lovely time being with my friends as we know how to enjoy the moment regardless.

This place is an absolute gift so close to home but sadly it is totally run down and very dirty Tents and internal fires not cleaned Kitchen filthy Rubbish and overgrown garden areas Filthy cold plunge One shower in use for the whole site Neglected outdoor areas

What can I say back to basic camping but in a lovely luxury yurt unbelievably cozy and warm for time of year. Very tranquil place. Aimee very helpful and very nice to approach. We took extra blankets and candles their was no need it was all provided when arrived and more. We would recommend go try baby moon. I'm looking forward to going back with the kids. Thanks babymoon for an amazing weekend hopefully see you sooner rather than later.

Visited this week with 3 friends to enjoy some rest and relaxation. We booked Apothecary accommodation a wooden yurt with beautiful interior, comfortable beds, bed linen, and gorgeous tea lamps everywhere. We also booked the hot tub which was magical in the woods. There is toilet block with shower and kitchen area with double stove, crockery and sink etc. Overall the babymoon experience is wonderful, they provide everything you need and some lovely extras!

The most comfy cosy 2 nights despite the cold weather so warm inside with the log burner! Clean fluffy bedding. Will definitely be back with friends. Thank you Baby Moon for an amazing weekend. It's the Second time we have been. Stayed in different accommodation every one perfect for the occasion!

My friend was having a party at baby moon and we agreed to stay over night with children. It was a good venue for the party. The fire pit was nice and the field was large enough for the children to play. The downsides were that the site was untidy and rundown. There had just been a storm but this was long term untidy. Stuff all over that would be hazards for children, open shipping containers and old bits of bbq for example. The toilets and showers were very small and in bad condition. No locks on the doors, dirty. The accommodation is mixed. The round shed was very nice. The tents are mouldy and damp. The huts didn’t seem quite as damp. Our bedding was dirty, the accommodation smelt damp, one the children started a bug hunt and was telling me how many spiders and creepy crawlers he’d found inside our accommodation. It was very dusty and looked rundown. It improved when we had the fire on but that required maintenance and was difficult to keep the children safe around it. The matches were damp, we didn’t have fire lighters but found some in another hut. There wasn’t much wood left in the hut and the outside wood was soaking wet. There was not enough parking for the party and it caused a hazard on the road at one point. So that’s something for large party’s to consider. There was also more road noise than I’d expect for a rural retreat. I hear less road noise in my own garden. Overall I think it has a lot of potential and maybe was once really nice. It’s just not been maintained though and looks messy and shabby. It was an interesting experience staying here, but not one I will be repeating.

Lovely relaxing stay at Baby Moon in Apothecary wooden yurt. Nicely presented and a really comfy big bed. Great to chat to the owner Aimee and find out more about her business. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil, short break/retreat . Thank you so much Aimee and family for your kind hospitality x
