Premier hôtel pour première nuit en Tanzanie, donc découverte totale. Situé hors centre de Moshi donc nous sommes restés dans l’hôtel une journée jusqu’au lendemain date de début de notre Safari. Hôtel totalement sécurisé d’accès. Personnel aimable et accueillant Prestations Repas et boissons de bonne qualité et pour un prix très bas Point Négatif: la Piscine qui n’est pas du tout filtrée et dans laquelle seuls les plus téméraires peuvent prendre le risque de s’y baigner. Sinon, comme partout, la pression de l’eau qui est faible mais on s’en accommode.

I'd been on an Ultramarathon in Tanzania and wanted a peaceful and quiet retreat. That is exactly what I got. From the welcome, food, service and rooms - I couldn't complain for what I paid. Sylvia in particular looked after me. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful clean and quiet surroundings made this the perfect retreat. Thank you.

Bra beliggenhet om man skal klatre Kilimanjaro. Fantastisk personale som hjelper med hva som helst. Veldig fine rom med gode senger.

wij verbleven hier voor 6 nachten, met vrienden. Lang moeten zoeken naar deze lodge ( geen wegwijzers) en dan kom je aan een kleine ijzeren poort, waarvan je denkt ,zijn wij wel op de juiste locatie ?. De eerste indruk van deze lodge was goed, een leuke gezellige omgeving. Vriendelijke ontvangst. We kregen ook zonder probleem, en zonder extra kosten een grotere kamer. De kamer was ruim, en netjes. Het ontbijt was niet erg uitgebreid. Hoewel ze zelf vroegen wanneer we wilden ontbijten, moesten we altijd nog erg lang wachten. Lunch en diner (op voorhand bestellen) waren ok, behalve de eerste 2 dagen was er geen vlees of vis voorradig. Je kon zien dat door corona dit hotel lang gesloten was geweest. Om en rond het zwembad dient men grondig te renoveren. Nog 4 bedden, die hun beste tijd hadden gehad (een hele boel kapotte bedden stonden opgestapeld onder een afdak) de kussens waren erg vuil, het kinderhoekje was afgebroken, en veel tegeltjes van het zwembad waren stuk. Indien deze lodge terug opgeknapt zou worden, voornamelijk om en rond het zwembad, zou deze lodge een prima en gezellig verblijf kunnen zijn

What an amazing experience from the Honey Badger Lodge. This was the most peaceful place I've stayed and they all treated me like a friend. Delicious breakfast, especially the eggs, and dinners (try the chips mayai) and a good selection of drinks on offer. The banana mango smoothie is to die for! Everyone was so helpful, caring and charming, I loved the shower, the bed was super comfy and they helped to organise a day trip into Moshi town so I could visit the market.

I had a nice moments in Honey Badger Lodge. The place is very nice and peaceful. Rooms are very clean, staff is very welcoming and available and food very yummy!! Thank you for your hospitality. Don't hesitate, choose Honey Badger Lodger for your stay in Moshi !

It is a lovely rural escape with clean comfortable rooms, well kept grounds, friendly staff, a good pool area to relax by and the occasional visit by monkeys. Added bonus of seeing Kilimanjaro too! The service in the restaurant was a bit slow and some nights, there was music being played loudly and too long into the night. However, I would recommend staying here and would return. Thank you all!

Fabulous location down a side Road near a lovely school. Views of Kilimanjaro out the front of the lodge. Hiking , trips and massage were easily arranged in house . Breakfast was very good and relaxing. The pool area very clean and had a chilled vibe as did the rustic bar. The gardens are impeccably maintained with a wide variety of plants and trees.

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive! The setting was a relaxing oasis. Breakfast and dinner in the patio just delightful. I would highly recommend !!! I stayed a full week and they took great care of me.

We stayed in the Honey Badger Lodge for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it. The staff are amazing and took great care of us! The food was delicious! We had a lovely time at the pool, watching monkeys run around the trees near the lodge. We also availed of massages at the spa which were amazing.

Wonderful place, lush gardens, great pool, restaurant and bar area, monkeys and tortoises! Clean and spacious rooms. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this lodge!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was good and the pool was really nice. There was free WiFi, plenty of parking if required and a beautiful view to Kilimanjaro! I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Having spent a week camping whilst climbing Kilimanjaro, this was the perfect spot on the outskirts of Moshi to do a bit of relaxation and enjoy some luxury. On a clear day you can also see the mountain from there, so see what you’ve just achieved. Lovely pool and excellent food. We loved watching the baby tortoises!

All in all, a sublime near perfect experience, staying here. Set in gorgeous nature surrounds - the monkeys were there to entertain many mornings/evenings - with views of Kilimanjaro just outside on the approach road too, then the wonderful pool area is luxury itself. A perfect place also to relax and prepare for climbing the mountain itself and then recuperate after. I loved the place and it reminded me of Ubud, Bali. Just the whole eco back to nature vibes there. All the staff were incredibly professional and friendly from Gen Mgr Digna to Cecilia, Exaud, Julie, Joyce, Sylvie, Nellie, Yoshua, Chan and others maybe i've omitted here. Food and service, all brilliant there and i loved the complimentary fresh late afternoon coffee with homemade snacks. And for the price it offers exceptional value. I just wish I could've done more of the activities and tours on offer (especially safaris) either before or after the climb but maybe for another time. Well done everyone and thank you ! One of the best places I've ever stayed in. Declan
