the room was old and in need of repair. The counter had clearly been damaged and put together unprofessionally. The room was small and did not meet expectation and service was terrible. I asked for fresh towels in the morning and after multiple request they were not received until the evening. Also they claim transfer from irons to steamers but that's a fail. Special event and an iron could not be provided. Walked across to the next building on my own to borrow an iron from my friend who had both iron and steamer. not the best experience!

For such a beautiful resort the escalator broke down many times. Only 5 people can be on the escalator if not it shuts down. In my building the elevator only worked 2 while i was there imagine walking down in heels every day. Only one working cart to move guests from one side of the resort to the next. Check in process horrible had to wait for 3 hours and still had to go back and complained before I could've gone to my room. As for my food allergies it wasn't catered for. The used the same utensils for shrimp, pork and everything else. My skin broke out and due to my food allergies. I'll give the room 10 out of 10. Building service 10 out of 10. The Resort itself needs to do better than that!!

Everything was great,but we were disappointed on howvfarvourvtwo swim up rooms were located from each other 6002 and 6015,we booked as a family,the second thing is the AC in our room,we had to have two technicians onvtwo days to rectify the problem with the cooling, the thermostat was broken. The last thing was the AC wasn't working at the Zen restaurant,it was hot, smoky and the floor was greasy due to the smoke expellars not working,it was a very uncomfortable dining experience,all in all it was a lovely hotel and the food was great etc

Staff is severely under paid and the rooms were unclean. Our room had two Queen beds while we requested a king bed suite. Sheets and towels were not present upon entering room. Room towels and bedroom sheets were not changed and dirt was present on them from previous guests upon check in. Management wasn’t responsive to any request or complaint, any made excuses. No clear solutions were put in place. Our request to see a manager was denied. Not worth the cost for this “type” or resort.

I had an amazing stay at this property. Everything was just as it was described on the website. My room was beautiful and my kids were comfortable. I had two buttler by the name of Michelle and Melissa that were absolutely wonderful!!! They went the extra mile and were attentive to me and my family. Special Thank you to Michelle for getting me a free room upgrade for a night!!!!!

Dinning no reservations, when you went, there were no availability so you had no choice but to at the buffet. AC in the room are not that cold.. called front desk twice and they never got back to me. Called fir bag puck never showed up neither.. service is not Good !

The name ROYALTON invokes premium class luxury, but our ocean view suite was flooded on the day after check in. I notified an (ambassador) assigned to me, and she notified the manager. The manager had a Bell Man relocate our belongings next door, and promised and upgrade, but I never heard from her again. There was a live roach in our suite, and the entire floor was flooded before checking out. This is unsatisfactory!

When we checked into our first room the AC was not working, we were disappointed that such a high end resort would have these issues. I also felt that the hotel room in general was fairly nice but could use an update. We were also not pleased with the view as we had booked an ocean view but there was a lot of concrete. They took a few hours to get us into another room which was frustrating because we were traveling with our 1 year old. Despite all this Kimberly from guest services was able to turn this trip around to a very pleasant experience for us . She was able to relocate us to a better room with the view right by the sand of the beach. We especially enjoyed the beach experience as well as the nightly shows and the calypso restaurant was excellent. Hats off to Kimberly because from the moment we had an issue she was there for us the rest of the trip and even assisted us when we decided to extend our stay. She is an example of what guest services entails, Bravo!

The resort is beautiful, very friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was eager to tend to all of your needs. We had a minor issue at check in and Tiffanie at the front desk was very helpful and tentative with resolving the issue. Kelonie was our Agent for during our stay and she was great. All in all my husband and I had an amazing time and we will definitely be returning soon.
