Wir waren eine Nacht zum 40. Geburtstag meines Lebensgefährten hier. Das Château ist wirklich prächtig und ein absoluter Blickfang. Es gibt 3 Suiten, 2 "Zimmer" und 2 FeWos. Wir hatten die rote Prestige-Suite: 2 Räume plus Bad. Das Grundstück und die Gärten des Gebäudes sind wundervoll gepflegt und hergerichtet. Das Schloss an sich besticht durch authentisch musealen Charme: Mobiliar, Einrichtung und Dekoration sind größtenteils ihrer Epoche entsprechend original. Natürlich sind die Bäder modern und großzügig und die Betten ausgesprochen bequem. Man sollte sich nur bewusst sein, dass in dem alten Gemäuer nicht gerade viele Menschen wohnen bzw übernachten, dazu die Atmosphäre = es ist definitiv etwas besonderes hier zu nächtigen;-). Die Schlossherren sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben sofort das für uns passende Restaurant empfohlen und reserviert und stehen auch sonst mit Rat bereit. Das Frühstück wird morgens zwischen 9-11 Uhr in der Schlossküche serviert: es war schlicht herrlich. Frische Tarte, wunderbare Croissants, frische Marmeladen und frisch gepresster Apfelsaft, dazu Obst und auf Wunsch Joghurt und Käse. Wer also in der Normandie etwas besonderes sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig.

Stunning build very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. This was a little treat for us at the end of a week in France and it didn't disappoint.

It is not complete luxury and opulence, but you get to see a real world example of a French palace and how it operated, how people lived and the atmosphere for living in the country a few hundred years ago.

It felt like we were staying on the set of a historical movie- loved the huge open castle room. Felt like a really special experience. The breakfast was wonderful- delicious baked goods

This beautiful atmospheric establishment is 5-star! The rooms feel like stepping back in time yet offer all the modern conveniences. The beds are very comfortable and the linens and towels are plush. Breakfast is included and plentiful; the host/owner and his family prepare and serve the meal. There is fresh fruit, selections of breads and cheese, an assortments of jams and honey, and plenty of coffee and/or tea. The grounds of the chateau are idyllic and peaceful. Through our open bedroom window, we even heard a cuckoo bird in the distance! Do stay here if the opportunity presents! It will be a highlight of your visit to France.

Usually, when something looks too good to be true, it is true. However, in this case our stay exceeded expectations. Great room in an authentic chateau, with a superb continental breakfast included. This was served in the old chateau kitchen, with an open fire and beautiful environment. Highly recommended.

It’s like Heaven. A bit remote, but so worth it.

The place was beautiful and we loved staying there. The host was very nice. The breakfast was great and it felt authentic and home made. I loved and will definitely stay again if I return to the area :)

Amazing place. Stunning castle and grounds. Almost hard to believe that it's available to the public. The owners/hosts are helpful and pleasant. Two minor inconveniences that are dwarfed by the incredible chateau experience: there's not much nearby and the WiFi and cell service is not great if you happen to need those things. But if you're seeking a break from technology and the trappings of modern life, this is a fantastic place to get away.

Everything about this property is beautiful. We will plan on visiting again in the future. The staff is beyond attentive and made our stay very pleasant. Such a beautiful place & area.

Beautiful place to experience a chateau stay.

Truly fabulous place to stay, the house, the bedroom, the breakfast room. Absolutely amazing. Service was also incredible!
