A few comments.
1) I booked the hotel through Trip.com and was told during check-in that I cannot enjoyed the points reward since it is booked via 3rd party instead of direct booking through hotel.
2) Provide hourly shuttle service to nearest ferry terminal (Sekupang terminal) and 1 trip at 10am to Grand Batam Mall. No service provide to Batam Centre ferry terminal.
3) No comments about the food as breakfast was not included unless I walk-in for it and have to pay at counter.
4) Room key was not working initially when check in and was told because I put next to my mobile phone and have to go back to front desk and get it change. Why was this not upfront alert to customer?
5) Gym threadmill was not working well during jogging and was not change or repair and dont instruction to inform not to use that threadmill.
6) While I was shaving in my bathroom, one of the housekeeper walk into my room without me knowing. Why is that so? He assumed I already check out?? Although he did shout 'housekeeping' but I was in the bathroom and cannot heard anything from inside.
7) Overall, the facilities look run down and old, no USB port for charging which clearly state that the hotel is very old.

Overall need lots of improvement on refurbishment, shuttle service and manner of service to enter the room without acknowledgement.
