Such an improvement over a standard hotel to have the additional room provided by the penthouse apartment. We've stayed in many hotels around the area when we visit family but have always been left wanting looking for more. It was fortuitous when another booking was cancelled and we ended up at Holland House in the penthouse apartment. Because of dietary restrictions having access to the kitchen has changed our visits completely as I can now cater for those restrictions, without having to worry about unknown ingredients in hotel food. Would highly recommend if you're looking for that bit more space.

Excellent Hotel! 1st time to wallasey and New Brighton. I'm here to cycle the prom. My room was lovely with a gorgeous balcony, views of river Mersey. Freshly baked loaf of bread and crumpets tea coffee sugar etc such a nice touch. excellent location to prom bottom of street.

Stayed here recently never saw anything of owners, most of contact was text! Room with balcony very small need of slight refurbishment, stain on light switch more TLC required (paint here and there). Breakfast was crumpets(hope you like them) bread and jam...cereal was only granola or fruit bran flakes(maybe cornflakes?) No yogurt. If staying for the pavilion show its quite a walk uphill Seabank Road. All in all was a good price but if I stayed again would be in a more expensive room.

We booked this for my Wife's Birthday weekend as it was a short walk to the Floral' where we where seeing a show, also visited the bowling alley a little further along which was great fun. We did not see anyone on first arrival, instructions being sent by text. The hotel is set over a myriad of small floors so it confused us a little. The hostess arrived quickly and guided us to our room. It was a reasonable size, bright and airy with plenty of sockets and a large Tv. It featured a small kitchenette with delicious, home baked bread left for us along with various breakfast items. The bathroom, though solely for our use was across the small landing so dressing gown required ! The bathroom featured a large bath and a decent sized shower with powerful jets.
