Super detailed weekend guide for Western Sichuan

Route: Chengdu—Kangding—Lenggacuo—Riche Village ➡️Friday after work📍Kangding 🚗Depart from Chengdu, about 🕛3.5 hours in total, ⛺️stay in Kangding; ➡️Saturday📍Lenggacuo🏔️ Upon arrival at Lenggacuo, you can choose 🗺️: Route A / Route B. After considering road conditions, we chose Route B! Route A: The road is mostly washboard and full of potholes, but there are several classic viewing platforms along the way. Cost💰: Horse ride uphill one way 200💰 + entrance ticket 🎫30💰 + horse ride back 200💰. You can also choose to hike uphill, only paying the entrance ticket 🎫, but the altitude here is high, so hiking is quite difficult for most people! Route B: This was our second choice but turned out to be the most surprising!!!! The scenery along the way is very beautiful! The car stirs up golden fallen leaves 🍂 on the road, fully embodying autumn! Along the way, we crossed Zheduo Mountain 🏔️ and passed through Xinduqiao 🍂, with good road conditions throughout! We stopped to play along the way and arrived at the Route B visitor center at 3:30 PM! Cost💰: Round-trip van 200💰 + horse ride 50💰 ⚠️It is recommended to bring a small oxygen tank, wear a thick down jacket + hat!! Lenggacuo is at an altitude of 4700 meters. After seeing the golden sunlight on the mountain, walking back from the lakeside is very exhausting; oxygen will make it much easier! Or choose to ride a horse to the mountain pass for 200💰! ⛺️We chose to stay in Xinduqiao, but you can also stay in the village at the foot of Lenggacuo! ➡️Sunday📍Riche Village 🔍Navigate to “Jinisongton Station”: Entrance for photos 📷30💰/person, afternoon tea 166💰/2 people, and you can also explore along the way, all beautiful scenery! Return to Chengdu in the afternoon🔙!
