Taking our child to Shanghai Disneyland 🏰 A family trip (parents and child, age 6) We arrived at Disneyland at 8 am, just as security checks were beginning and entrances were being released. (We chose not to buy early bird tickets because we had a child and were worried they wouldn't last long enough to see the fireworks.) We rented a stroller from Disneyland through our tour group (127 baht for the whole day, with a 300 yuan deposit refundable upon return). Upon entering, we immediately purchased a FAST PASS for Zootopia (540 yuan for 3 people) directly through the Shanghai Disneyland app. We then explored other rides first, including Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Dwarf Train, and went to the Toy Story zone. We only waited 5 minutes for each ride, presumably because most people were already in Zootopia. After exploring the other rides, we went to Zootopia. We were able to enter immediately, whereas the regular queue was 300 minutes long. We finished exploring the most popular rides by around 1 pm, then took our child to eat at Disney Town. Remember to keep your tickets handy, as eating at Disney Town with you will allow you to enter faster and avoid the security check queue again. After eating, we went back to Disneyland and gradually visited the less popular rides, so the wait times weren't long. The fireworks were at 8 PM sharp. We reserved a spot at 7 PM in the designated seating area. There were some strict staff members who would remind Chinese tourists not to stand in that area; everyone had to sit. For us, having a child was great because no one blocked our view and we didn't have to carry our baby, who was tired from carrying all day.🤣 🏢We stayed at the Novotel hotel near Disneyland. They have a shuttle service to Disneyland, which was very convenient. On the way back, we didn't have to struggle to find a ride with so many people. #shanghai #disneyland #travelchina
