Shanghai | Climb to the Peak of Sheshan and Listen to the Ode of Time

Inside the museum, the history of modern Chinese astronomy and precious artifacts and instruments are displayed The highest stone of "Sheshan Peak" is inside the Astronomical Museum On the roof sits a giant astronomical telescope, the "treasure of the museum" Standing on the high platform and looking afar The red walls and green tiles of the Basilica of Our Lady and the white dome of the Astronomical Museum complement each other In the distance, rolling mountains stretch out Red tiles layer like waves Each tile holds a story Quietly telling the long passage of time ⭐Above the museum entrance is a sundial, and below it is engraved the Latin motto "cum umbra nihil sine umbra nihil," meaning "Though the shadow is formless, without shadow nothing has form," which is very philosophical. ❗Enter from the North Gate of West Sheshan and exit from the East Gate 🎫Tickets: Sheshan is free, Astronomical Museum 12 RMB (8 RMB for seniors and children) 🚌Transportation: Metro Line 9 to Sheshan Station, transfer to Songjiang Bus 92 or Huchen Line to reach the destination
