名泉水簾泉位於濟南柳埠的水簾峽景區。景區地跨濟南、泰安兩地，佔地10平方公里。以高山、險峽、山泉、瀑布、 泰山奇石、桃花水母著稱，內有濟南最高峰、最大的峽谷和山東省內最大的天然瀑布群，是泉城濟南的水源涵養地，素有“泉城之巔、趵突之源”的美譽。進入水簾峽景區，只見群山環繞，飛瀑成群。山間小徑蜿蜒曲折，林間四季溪水潺潺。山中泉水眾多，以水簾泉、龍虎泉、飲馬泉、淘米泉、公主泉、葦泉六泉為最，在清代郝植恭所著的《濟南七十二名泉》中就有關於水簾泉、飲馬泉的記載。其中飲馬泉是濟南海拔高度最高的泉眼。
