what a beautiful and unique street surrounding village Gion district of Kyoto Japan. It really pretty nice and walking experience here.
The scenery of Kyoto in mid-November is picturesque! Although there are not many red leaves, the maple leaves mixed with green, yellow and red are very beautiful! The weather is not too cold, the cool autumn wind, and the warm sun are really pleasant to walk around Kyoto! A day trip to Kyoto takes only 45 minutes from Osaka, and a aimless walk in Kyoto is very free!
The Gion is located in the Dongshan District of Kyoto. The scope is actually not clearly defined. It is roughly centered on the four-way, from the Kamogawa River to the west, and from the east to the East Road; from the south to the Gion A singing and dancing venue, and from the north to the Shirakawa New Bridge. This square area is the Gion. The name is related to the Yasaka Shrine. Before the Meiji era, the Yasaka Shrine was called the Yasaka Shrine. The border area in this area was called the Yasaka Shrine. It belongs to the Yasaka Shrine's "front door" and there was a constant flow of visitors. By the late Edo era, there were hundreds of tea houses in the garden, and the unique flower street culture was bred; there was also Kabuki Theatre "South Block", which developed into a bustling neighborhood, and it is still the case.
This trip went to Kyoto Gion. It was very special to go to Yasaka Shrine in the evening. I had a good meal and roasted pork. There are many restaurants nearby that are worth recommending. I hope you can go to this place when you come to Kyoto. Don’t miss it. It’s worth going again. I will go again next time. Really really beautiful.
The first time I went to Kyoto, I went to the Gion for sightseeing. I experienced the kimono, visited the Yasaka Shrine, enjoyed the banquet cuisine, and also saw the geisha up close. It's really a good memory. 😊😊😊
I went to Japan for more than 20 days before and after. I currently like Kyoto. It is antique and the scenery is everywhere. I love it too much. I wear a kimono 👘 dress up as a Japanese girl 🥰.
