Kaiyuan Temple

Kaiyuan Temple is really historical. It is separated from the Xingtai Museum by a road, and the two attractions can be visited carefully in a day. The main entrance of Kaiyuan Temple is in the south. Tickets are free. Kaiyuan Temple is divided into newly built parts. There is also a yard next to the old site. It takes two hours to visit both places. Kaiyuan Temple has a lot of shade, and there is no special sun in summer. The feature is that each Buddhist hall is not only a Buddha statue, there will be many exhibitions on the wall, old photos, for tourists like us who only visit and don't worship Buddha, there are many things to see. It is also recommended to see the old site.

This Dakaiyuan Temple is outrageous. The magnificent monastery on the east side of the Gaomen Courtyard is newly built; the inconspicuous row on the west side is the ancient buildings of the Ming Dynasty. The first time I saw a completely new monastery next to the ancient building. There are several treasures in it, of which the 16-faced Jing Building in the Tang Dynasty is a national orphan, and it is indeed a lonely place in the root of the Western Wall, and a simple canopy is built, which is all. It is a bit shabby to treat the national treasure like this.

The Kaiyuan Temple in Xingtai is the ancestral court of the Dakai Yuanzong and Cao Dongzong, the place of the two ancestors of Zen and the place of the master of the Zen seven ancestors. Xingtai Kaiyuan Temple is one of the most well-preserved famous temples in China in the Tang Dynasty. There are a large number of ancient monuments, statues, scriptures and scriptures in the temple, of which the 16-face scripture building of Tang Dynasty is the only one in China. The stone carvings of Kaiyuan Temple record the origin of Buddhism and the historical changes in the Central Plains in detail, which is an important data for studying ancient politics, economy, history and Buddhist culture.

Awesome big temple, strong osmanthus fragrance, quiet and far away. Occasionally, the hotel is opposite the Kaiyuan Temple. Open at 8:30 in the morning, go in to worship Buddha and start a good day. Next time I will especially settle on the platform and go to Kaiyuan Temple.
