這裏海拔高度為5190米，是去納木錯的必經之路，來到這裏，高原反應是有的，走快一點也會氣喘吁吁，腳步有點浮。但是這個美景的確讓人忘記了高原反應。

在納木錯景區里，進入景區大門之後，到達遊客中心之前，路邊有個很大的觀景台，巨大的經幡使山坡的景象十分壯觀。沿着山坡可以登到山頂，遠眺雪峰，風景獨好。只是在這種海拔的地區，要登上坡度很陡的山頂，非常耗費體力，一定要注意安全。

那根拉山口海拔只比珠峰大本營低了一點點，風特別的大，這裡是最適合掛經幡的地方，海拔越高掛經幡的效果越好，在經幡上寫上家人的名字祈福家人身體健康萬事如意。
