Sapporo Educational and Cultural Club Hall is a cultural facility which has been intimately called "Educational and Cultural" by Sapporo citizens since its establishment in 1977. Here we can enjoy music, dance, drama, opera, classical literature and art in many fields. The green brick and tile building was also designed by Hokkaido renowned architect Takashi. The Cultural Museum will be adjacent to the Sapporo Municipal Library (Old Sapporo Appellate Court), which is located on the west side of the main entrance of the Old Sapporo Appellate Court and retains the Pinus tabulaeformis planted by the Emperor Prince Dazheng 11 years (1922) when he visited Sapporo. Every summer to autumn, there are theatre festivals "Educational Drama Festival" attended by local and foreign art troupes in Hokkaido and "Sapporo Opera Festival" that can be seen with young children.

On the west side of Datong Park, there are red walls, complete halls and small auditoriums, and there are often performances of various dramas and operas.

The cultural clubhouse environment here is very good, the large buildings are very ancient, and the Education Committee is also set up here. There are often plays and operas.
