Though the room size is small, everything is well designed in such a way that it feel bigger as everything you need from luggage stand, mini bar, safe box is all easily accessible. Even though my room is on level 3 directly facing the MRT track, the sound proofing is so good that I don’t even hear the train passing. The room is very clean and bed is firm and comfortable. Air coning is strong if you set it to low temperature. It worked well.
The breakfast is average.

|1.7km from 台北101觀景台Short stay over 2022/2023 New Year holiday weekend. Location was ok, about 10 minutes walk from a MRT station.
Hotel was packed during the stay, the lobby, overcrowded small breakfast lounge and most places were too small to accommodate if there were more than a few guests at one time.
The food during breakfast was very nice for me, and the staff were busy preparing and refilling the food that got finished very quickly.
Most of the staff were ok, but would not interact or or help much; probably due to the amount of workload. The rooms were decent to good. Price was average to high, but also due to holiday period.
One biggest unpleasantness was during check-out, with a crowded lobby and staff seemingly very eager for me to leave immediately after return of room card. No chance of leaving any baggage till later part of the day, and I got spot-checked and shooed immediately by the guard when I put down my bag to take my belongings, the moment I stepped out of the hotel entrance. The check-out experience and overcrowding during full occupancy, was unpleasant for a probably ok hotel.

This place is ideal if you're arriving via the express train from Taoyuan Airport. It's within reasonable walking distance from a nearby metro station. For a shorter walk, get off at Beimen Station—just be prepared for some stairs. Otherwise, you’ll have a longer walk from Taipei Main Station (Exit Y27).
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious for one person, with a comfortable bed and pillows, strong air conditioning, and excellent shower facilities.
One downside was the soundproofing. I could clearly hear a baby crying in the next room, which disturbed my rest.
However, the staff were very accommodating and allowed me to change rooms, which greatly improved my stay. Overall, a positive experience.

However, thankfully, despite the hotel's bustling location, it was incredibly quiet, allowing me to rest well and recharge for my favorite singer's concert. The housekeeper was also very considerate; understanding I needed to rest, she efficiently helped with trash disposal and replacing essentials. 👍🏻👍🏻 My room came with a balcony (I always love rooms with balconies), but unfortunately, I couldn't properly enjoy it this time – what a shame. The concert venue, Legacy MAX, was only about an 18-minute walk from the hotel. The Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei store is also nearby, making it super convenient for browsing, buying souvenirs, and dining. Overall 👍🏻

The hotel's facilities are a bit dated but very well-maintained and clean. The pool has two lanes and requires a reservation. The gym only has one power rack; the rest are cardio machines. It would be great if they could add some dumbbells. The service is excellent, and there's free parking. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

- Room: The twin room provided adequate space for two adults with two 24” suitcases. Appreciated the thoughtful touch of both soft and firm pillows on each bed. While water pressure was good, experienced inconsistent hot water temperature during showers. The room was clean and functional overall.
- Amenities: The in-house laundromat was out of service during the stay. Staff directed to their sister hotel Relax 2 across the street for laundry services, not convenient but manageable. Prep 5 10nt coins each for washer and dryer. Can get detergent from front desk.
- Service: Front desk staff provided good local dining recommendations as well as great assistance for a bad gum infection. The recommended pharmacy right across is a lifesaver. Complimentary hot drinks like coffee, milk tea, matcha, chocolate available at lobby at all times.
- Overall: Recommended if do not mind walking abit further to the hotel from Taipei main station

Amenities are bare - there’s basically no disposable items as per Taiwan’s new laws. Our uber food order was delivered without utensils and we asked if they had cutlery, which they also did not have. Of the 5 nights we stayed, for 2 nights they did not replenish the complimentary water. There is however a water cooler on each floor.
The staff were unfriendly though. there’s a washing machine on the 7th floor, but there were many hotel guests that were irresponsible and did not remove their clothes in time. We waited for 30 mins before asking the hotel front desk if they could help, but they just said that they’re not able to assist as the clothes are guests’ personal property. The male staff told us “just continue waiting”. There was a notice at the washing area indicating that hotel staff could remove clothes but clearly they did not want to help. Also, I understand it’s personal items, but it could be removed with tongs (especially with a cctv in the washing area), which is quite a common practice for other hotels. we had to wait for an hour for a machine to be available despite the fact that there were 4 dryers and washers.
If you’re here for a short stay and expect minimal interactions with the hotel staff it’s fine. Otherwise, would recommend other hotels with better hospitality.

|3.39km from 台北101觀景台Overall - 3 stars. This might sound harsh but there are two negatives that each cost a star.
1 - noise. The windows are not soundproof so there is a lot of street noise if you're on that side. There was also some noise from the corridor and other rooms. In particular, you could hear that loud rushing-water 'shhh' sound when someone was using the shower in the neighbouring room. Personally, I think hotels should be as quiet as possible.
2 - I asked for late check out and was told it's 200 NTD per hour up to 2pm, and after that you get charged for an extra day. Now 200 per hour isn't too bad, but I felt like a really good hotel would let you have a couple hours late check out for free if they don't need the room back. The receptionist didn't even check the system. It's pure policy, which just feels a bit corporate.
The bed was comfy, shower was good and free snacks is of course a plus, so if you don't mind the above two points, by all means stay here. But next time I come to Taipei, I'll try somewhere else.

However, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they welcomed us ok - but nothing special given we paid for a special executive level treatment. Breakfast was plenty of options but some limitations to those who are vegan and would like healthier options. Staff lack attentiveness that belongs to 5 stars, they also lack ‘can do’ attitude to accommodate guests’ requests especially when they are so simple like for example - I asked multiple times at breakfast and in the lounge if they can serve me some watermelon (because I saw they had freshly cut and stored watermelon sitting in the fridge) but all staff repeatedly said no. It felt so silly looking at that watermelon just sitting there and me sitting so disappointed day after day, just craving it and not being able to get it so I went to the mall across the street and ate it there. I mean, not a five star experience really. Apart from great spa and fitness, we left pretty disappointed :(

My four friends and I stayed in a deluxe family room, which was relatively affordable. Each bed had an outlet, and they provided water and small snacks in the room daily – a very thoughtful touch.
The pantry on the basement level is super convenient. We could bring back breakfast and eat it there. They offer free drinks, small snacks, and a microwave for heating food.
My only minor complaints are that the hairdryer's outlet is fixed, so you can only dry your hair by the bed. Also, the two single beds were probably for kids because they were too soft and uncomfortable for adults to sleep on.

I was travelling with my child, the room looked clean and tidy except when i check under the bed, there was a ring, a donut, a water bottle and a water flask. Pretty shocking really. The shower is clean, except they give you an all in one washing liquid at the basin, for handwashing, hair washing and body wash (not sure I wanted to be impressed with the efficiency or the lack of effort from the hotel).
Generally approachable and friendly staff. Wifi quite slow, better use your own roaming network.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best but their prices were pretty reasonable with good bed and they upholds a standard of cleanliness.
The nearest MRT station would be Jiantan but it’s probably a 10 mins walk. And about 13 mins walk to Shilin Night Market from hotel.
Their room walkway is slightly dimmer but that’s no issue for me. Hotel surrounding has lots of convenient stores and eateries..

The front desk staff was friendly and provided useful information about the restaurants, facilities and the complimentary shuttle bus service to the nearest MRT stations. The room was very clean and spacious with a separate toilet and shower/bath with in-room private hot spring water access. The room was very quiet at night. We enjoyed the ‘public’ hot spring facilities too. There are a few pools with different temperatures you can choose from, plus sauna and steam. There were only a few people when we were there so it’s extra enjoyable for us. There is also an indoor swimming pool. We had an amazing and relaxing time in this hotel. The free shuttle bus service was a plus as it’s hard to get a taxi to go out in the evening. Would recommend to our families and friends.

The hotel offers a good buffet breakfast, with decent variety. There is also a small cafe in the hotel lobby. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. The gym and sauna seemed nice as well, although we didn't have an opportunity to use them. Overall, we were very comfortable here and would stay again on our next visit to Taipei.
