The hotel's facilities are top-notch: the rooms are spacious and bright, a pleasant sea breeze drifts through, and the sun-drenched beach, playground, and Ocean Park just a few steps away provide everything you could ask for. Even more memorable was the hotel staff's service: they were attentive throughout our stay, answering every question and responding incredibly quickly. Midway through our stay, our floor had a slight odor due to disinfection, and the staff immediately moved us to another room. Our flight was delayed, and they thoughtfully arranged a late check-out for us. Sometimes, they even anticipated our needs before we even had a chance to voice them. Finally, my wife really hopes the hotel's restaurant and its lavish breakfast are rated as the best dining experience she's had in a hotel in years. I wish MGM continued success, and I wish the staff all the best in their work and lives. We will definitely choose MGM again. 😄😄😄

My friend came to Shenzhen, and I thought I'd join them for a two-day staycation at a hotel. Since there's now an MGM Hotel in Shenzhen, we didn't hesitate to choose it. With Christmas approaching, the hotel was beautifully decorated, full of festive cheer. The Christmas trees and Santa Claus decorations really enhanced the hotel's unique character and were perfect for photoshoots – very Instagrammable! The hotel's performances were also great; the fire dance was particularly impressive. On weekend evenings, the bar even had live band performances. All the hotel staff were lovely; Jelly and Xiao Mianbao were especially wonderful, greeting guests with smiles and providing very friendly service. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely come back with my family next time I have the chance.

Reviews From Real Travellers
This InterContinental resort hotel was great, living up to the brand's usual standards. The room facilities and cleanliness were all up to par. I stayed for three nights and was very comfortable, with no inconveniences. Most rooms offer a sea view, though not all face directly out; some might be slightly angled due to the hotel's curved building design. During check-in, we were recommended Room 23, which offered a perfect direct sea view. It was excellent! So, for future guests, I recommend rooms in the 20s to mid-20s (you can check the room layout in the photo). The hotel's other facilities are also good. There are three outdoor pools and one indoor pool, all equipped with lounge chairs. The indoor pool even has inflatable toys for guests to play with. The gym and water sports equipment rental facilities were all well-equipped. The gym even had a stair climber, which I appreciated, haha. Breakfast was delicious and generally very good. Every day, I enjoyed a tiny, hard whole-wheat bread that was incredibly fragrant with a strong wheat flavor. Paired with a little light cream, it was super aromatic. The noodle bar also offered three kinds of greens and mushrooms daily. The soup itself was a bit salty, making a bowl of veggies in the morning very satisfying. On my last day, I had oil-splashed noodles (youpo mian) that were freshly shaved, very springy, and delicious. If you don't have a big appetite, remember to ask for fewer noodles. The breakfast restaurant's order and cleanliness were also good, making for a comfortable meal. The hotel's lobby bar also offered decent food. I had two cakes: the pistachio chocolate was better than the Opera cake. I also tried a refreshing chilled dessert (qingliangbu), which was quite tasty. The coffee was just average. I didn't try the hotel's buffet. I had a Tom Yum soup and a seafood salad at the Southeast Asian restaurant upstairs. The taste was good, but it wasn't great value for money. I went to the hotel's Cantonese restaurant, Yuècài Wángfǔ, two days in a row and absolutely loved it (you can see my separate review for Yuècài Wángfǔ). So, dining is definitely not an issue here. The front desk service was superb. The same kind and friendly gentleman, who was a bit chubby, checked us in and out. He was very warm and attentive, leaving me with an excellent first impression as soon as I arrived. All in all, Dameisha in the off-season is well worth it. Falling asleep to the sound of waves every night and waking up to the morning sun. After breakfast, I'd take a walk on the beach or just lie on a lounge chair by the beach or pool, lost in thought until the afternoon. It was truly delightful.

I stayed here a few years ago and had a good impression, so I brought my family back again this time to enjoy it. Compared to my first visit, it's a little bit older now, and there are excavators working on the beach. The quality of service is generally still there. The staff at the lobby, front desk, and restaurant are good-looking, elegant, and sharp. They even proactively upgraded us to a sea-view room. The afternoon tea and happy hour are also decent; if you don't eat much for dinner, you don't need to go out. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's not expensive. The turndown service was very meticulous, and the fruit and snacks provided were generous. *** However, some of the services felt a bit disconnected: for example, someone was sweeping the restaurant floor during afternoon tea, and when we got out of the car, the greeter neither took our luggage nor offered a warm welcome, just pointed us in a direction and told us to go in ourselves. The most outrageous thing was when we were resting in the afternoon, a salesperson brought clients and knocked on the door of my friend's other room, then walked in to show the room. My friend had already changed and was lying down. That's absolutely ridiculous! I've never encountered anything like that at any hotel, and for it to happen at an InterContinental is truly shocking! They later compensated us with an aromatherapy diffuser. I'm not giving a bad review because, overall, we still had a pretty good time. Management shouldn't blame the frontline staff; they need to think deeply and take action.
- be there

We were truly blessed! The service from the Raffles staff must be more 'spirited' than most, offering a unique sense of humiliation! ☺️ When I arrived at the concierge on the first floor, no one paid attention to me. I went up to the 34th-floor lobby, and still, no one guided me. I finally found the front desk, where there were two half-empty welcome teas on the table. The staff member was expressionless and extremely cold. They didn't stand up or smile until I left, and then reminded me, 'If there are other guests, you must register them to prevent crime.' I'm not sure if this is standard procedure, as I've never heard it at The Peninsula or St. Regis. Okay, fine. In the evening, I went to the happy hour at the 71st-floor lobby lounge. There wasn't much food, which was fine. But still, zero service! No one showed me to a seat, no one greeted me. From the moment I sat down until I left, it felt like I was at a self-service buffet. There was one family celebrating a birthday who did receive greetings. I guess I just wasn't worthy. I went to the lobby with my luggage to check out. A lady came up and asked, 'Checking out?' I said yes, and then she asked, 'Have you already returned your room card to us?'???? 🤔 This is the first time in my life I've heard such a thing... What's up, do your room cards summon a dragon if you collect seven? I have a stack of cards from The Peninsula, and they don't win prizes, so I guess you're on a different level. I went back to pick up my stored luggage and accidentally lost the baggage tag. I cooperated by giving my room number and phone number, and was told I needed my ID, which I completely understood. I pulled it out and handed it to the concierge staff, but he wouldn't take it. I had to hold it with both hands for him to take a picture. Interesting. 😄 If you enjoy paying money to be tormented, come to Raffles! They'll give you seven-star humiliation!!! BTW, the food was also terrible.

I enjoy experiencing high-end hotel culture around the world, and I brought my child to try this one out. The hotel service is quite meticulous; staff proactively ask if you need anything. The receptionist, Elaine, was very gentle – big thumbs up! The service felt just right. I added her on WeChat, and she's provided a lot of detailed help. The afternoon tea view is my absolute favorite. What I wasn't used to was how soft the bed was; I can't sleep on beds that soft. Also, the light switch on the wall was too bright when trying to sleep... I had to turn my back to it. And the coffee at breakfast being made by an automatic machine was a bit disappointing; after all, it's a high-end hotel, how can they have an automatic coffee machine serving guests?

This is our second time staying at the Andaz Shenzhen with my wife, and the quality is consistently excellent! We were very satisfied with our three-day stay. I had informed them in advance about my birthday, and the hotel arranged decorations and a mini raspberry cake, along with a handwritten note, which added a wonderful sense of occasion. It's worth noting that compared to two years ago, the hotel now has a butler service. Faye provided very professional and responsive service, and even thoughtfully prepared a parting gift for us before we left! It was a very pleasant vacation experience, and we would definitely choose to stay here again next time. Just a small suggestion: hotel maintenance should try to avoid guest rest times. On the second night, close to 10 PM, there was some noise from a room maintenance upstairs, which was a bit disruptive, but thankfully it was resolved promptly. Other than that, the hotel's design aesthetic and service standards are top-notch!
- Xiangshoushijieshehuajiudian
The hotel's public areas are not expansive, but they're rich in detail, subtly blending in Nanyang elements. The sea-view room we experienced offered a wide-open vista and a wonderfully cozy layout that felt just like home, with a more spacious bathroom and sleeping area. All in-room amenities were fully equipped. While the breakfast selection wasn't vast, some individual items were exquisitely prepared. A special shout-out to Candy for her exceptional and thoughtful service! This level of service quality was undoubtedly a crucial and indispensable part of our stay. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

A special thanks to Wendy for the thoughtful service; she even gave a small toy to my child. The hotel's facilities are great, and the common areas are aesthetically pleasing. Our room had a stylish acrylic decorative piece resembling a porcelain element, and we had a view of Shenzhen Bay. There were quite a few guests staying over the weekend. The swimming pool gets a big thumbs-up, especially the large hot tub with its higher temperature, perfect for kids to play in without worrying about catching a cold. Both the Happy Hour and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choices. My child was very happy!
- JoysharEdu
The hotel facilities are very new, and the rooms are spacious and tidy. However, what truly stood out even more than the hardware facilities was the exceptional human-centered service. Alice, the Guest Relations Manager, went above and beyond by decorating the room for my family in advance, upgrading our amenities, and even providing disposable bathtub liners. Her service awareness was outstanding and elevated our entire hotel experience. The executive lounge has a great location, and the breakfast is also very rich. It's an excellent choice for a stay!

After spending 5 days in Dali and then flying back to Shanghai via Shenzhen, I made a point to visit the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen, which was on my MO List. The hotel, designed by SOM Architects, consists of a 388-meter tall tower and the tech-forward 'The Cube' podium. The Cube's exterior is made of panoramic glass curtain walls, offering guests inside expansive, sweeping views. Lingnan Elements: The hotel cleverly incorporates Lingnan features like grey brick walls, adding a touch of sophisticated cultural heritage to its luxury. Detail-Oriented Guests Will Rejoice: Marble bathrooms, walk-in closets, oversized bathtubs, and rainfall showers – every detail tells you: you deserve the best! 🪭 Fans of M.O. Members: Who understands the feeling of being pampered by MO? Surprise Perks: Since I booked an Executive Room, I chose a SPA Credit and late check-out until 4 PM. I was greeted with thoughtful arrangements and personalized amenities. I absolutely love this feeling of being 'remembered' and 'pampered' by MO! 🥢 Last week, I tried Master Hui's Guangzhou branch, and this time I came to 'Oriental Bay – by Master Hui' in Shenzhen for a taste. This restaurant is also helmed by Master Huang Jinghui, who boasts two Michelin stars. It specializes in innovative Cantonese cuisine, blending the essence of traditional Cantonese dishes with modern cooking techniques. In terms of taste, it was slightly less impressive than 'Jiang – by Master Hui' in Guangzhou. Recommended Dishes: Steamed Hairy Crab with Egg White Custard, Black Garlic and Preserved Vegetable Snow Beef, Handmade Crucian Carp Porridge, and Seasonal Soup (recommended for solo diners) 💆🏻♂️ Spa Center: Embark on a revitalizing journey for your body and mind. 🏊 High-Altitude Pool: Located on the 68th floor, this 20-meter indoor heated pool features a cathedral-like 30-meter high ceiling, making you feel like you're swimming in a 'sky mirror'! There's also a hot spring massage pool ♨️ nearby – a soak after your swim washes away all fatigue. 💆🏻♂️ SPA Experience: This time, I opted for MO's classic Oriental Essence. The 90-minute session featured professional yet gentle techniques from the therapist. In the serene environment, listening to soothing music, I felt my body and mind were completely 'rebooted'. 🌃 Stunning Views: While enjoying the spa, you can also overlook Lianhua Mountain and the city skyline – a double delight of 'scenery + healing'!

The Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, which opened in 2022, boasts excellent, very new facilities. The lobby is on the 78th floor, accessible by elevator from the concierge desk on the 2nd floor, and then you transfer to another elevator on the lobby level to reach your room. The room is fully equipped with all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. The view from the window is absolutely stunning, offering a full panorama of the sunset over Nanshan – truly beautiful. My only minor complaint is that the light switches are incredibly hard to find. The buttons are tiny and black, and I actually had to use my phone flashlight to locate the bathroom light switch... I suspect this might be a design choice to maintain the overall aesthetic. The gym equipment is fantastic. Each machine comes with a screen to help with reps and guide concentric/eccentric rhythms. The high-pulley lat pulldown machine is the popular 'large scissor' type, which is excellent for targeting the lats. It happened to be my back day when I checked in, and it was a really satisfying workout. Picture 3 shows the gym's small bar area; seeing such a nice environment definitely motivates you more during your workout. The hotel staff provided excellent service. After check-in, someone accompanied me to explain the different areas of the hotel, like the restaurant on the 77th floor and the bar on the 79th, and then escorted me to my room. Beyond that, the attention to detail in their service was commendable. It's truly worthy of praise. Unfortunately, I overslept this time and missed breakfast. I'll have to make up for that next time I'm in Futian.

My recent trip to Shenzhen led me to the Park Hyatt, and I must say, the experience was absolutely phenomenal! I really have to sing its praises. Stepping into the lobby, you're immediately struck by an atmosphere of understated luxury. Art installations are tastefully placed everywhere, making you feel like you're in an exclusive art gallery. Each piece is unique, adding a rich cultural vibe to the entire hotel. The decor perfectly blends modern aesthetics with traditional Chinese elements, achieving a look that's both minimalist and elegant. Quality truly shines through in every detail. The room itself was beyond compare! The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Shenzhen's bustling cityscape. From the comfort of the bed, I could take in the city's vibrant daytime energy and its dazzling night lights. The bedding was incredibly comfortable – just the right balance of softness and firmness – ensuring a truly restful night's sleep. All the in-room amenities were top-notch: a Dyson hairdryer, Le Labo toiletries, and the thoughtful turndown service. Every detail was meticulously considered, demonstrating a deep understanding of guests' needs. The hotel's dining options were also outstanding. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including Western staples like pastries and cold cuts, as well as signature Chinese dishes. The beef noodles, for instance, had a wonderfully fresh and flavorful broth – a perfect start to the day, leaving me feeling energized. Cantonese cuisine at Rong Ge was incredibly authentic; each dish was presented like a work of art, and the flavors were simply stunning. In the evening, I enjoyed a quiet drink at the lobby bar, listening to the soothing melodies of the live singer – truly relaxing and enjoyable. Service is another area I absolutely must highlight! Even before arrival, the concierge team provided a 'welcome home' service, kindly helping with a room upgrade – their attentiveness was exceptional. Specifically, Concierge Alan KYAN LENN was incredibly enthusiastic and professional. During my stay, he responded immediately to every request via WeChat, making me feel truly at home and valued every single time. The location is also fantastic – vibrant and convenient, with an abundance of dining options, numerous bars, and even late-night snacks just a 3-minute walk away. So incredibly convenient! The fitness center and pool were also excellent. The gym is open 24/7, fully equipped with state-of-the-art machines, and thoughtfully provides towels, water, and fresh fruit. The pool's water was crystal clear, and after a swim, unwinding in the massage jet pool was absolutely heavenly. The Park Hyatt Shenzhen is truly an impeccable hotel in every aspect. It's perfectly suited for both business travelers and leisure guests alike! I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Location: Superb! Right by Shopping Park and Ping An Finance Center, and next to Coco Park. Service: Fantastic! I've stayed in many hotels, but this one has the most staff, the highest quality personnel, and the most thoughtful service. Special thanks to Alan, KYAN, and LENN – they made our trip truly memorable. Room Type: The 200-degree immersive city view was stunning, especially when we caught the Mid-Autumn Moon. Enjoying the moon from such a high vantage point was beautiful and made for great photos. Restaurant: The breakfast experience was excellent. Since most dishes are made to order, there's no need to wait long, and the food comes out quickly and tastes great. For afternoon tea, we chose Ao Lu on a high floor – the views were amazing, and the desserts were exquisite and fresh. During the 'tipsy' evening hours, I particularly enjoyed the steamed red prawns paired with red, white, and sparkling wine… pure bliss! Pool: A huge bonus! The water temperature was incredibly comfortable, the shower area was well-designed with high privacy, the soaking tubs had massage zones, and the wet and dry saunas were spacious. The hotel has great hardware facilities, but even better soft services. It was a wonderful holiday. Many thanks to Alan, KYAN, and LENN for their thoughtful service!

Choosing Conrad was a deliberate and well-researched decision, and it absolutely deserves a five-star rating! First, let's talk about the bedding. This was one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, offering the perfect balance of softness and support. The down duvet and pillows were also incredibly soft, gentle on the skin, and wonderfully cozy, ensuring I had a fantastic night's sleep. The hotel's overall service was excellent and thoughtful. Emma began communicating even before check-in, ensuring my request for a bouquet to be placed in the room beforehand was perfectly arranged, which saved me a lot of hassle. Throughout my entire stay, Emma maintained a professional yet warm demeanor, paying attention to every single detail, which truly made me feel looked after and valued. Qianhaishi Park is conveniently located nearby, and it's not crowded, making it definitely worth a visit. Overall, I had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

I've stayed at numerous hotels, and the service at this one was a definite highlight. Elmma was incredibly attentive and anticipated my needs. As an early arrival, I honestly didn't expect a room to be ready, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean room already prepared for me. The personalized service was outstanding. The room's lighting control system was also very logical and convenient. The mini-bar was well-stocked and, impressively, complimentary. The coffee machine was another great touch. All these aspects perfectly align with the hotel's positioning, and their commitment to green environmental practices showcases a strong sense of corporate responsibility, which left a very positive impression on me. I would definitely return if I have the opportunity.

This is my umpteenth time staying here. The hotel is right on Jiao Tou Sha beach, where you can stroll along the crescent-shaped shore, feel the gentle sea breeze, or enjoy a variety of exhilarating water activities. It's also very close to Yangmeikeng Luzui Villa. The drive there offers stunning coastal scenery for several kilometers, with beautiful mountains and the sea. At Luzui Villa's Mermaid Cave, you'll find spectacular rock formations and crystal-clear waters where coral reefs are clearly visible. You can take your kids to Yangmeikeng to collect seashells and observe small crabs, enjoying the fun of tide pooling. Don't forget to visit the observatory for sunrise and sunset views, or try the Xichong trek!

The beach at Jiao Dong Sha is probably the best in Shenzhen, better than Dameisha. The hotel environment is nice and feels like a resort, but the facilities are a bit old. Around 11:50 AM, staff knocked on our door saying the smoke alarm was going off. While I understand it's for safety, it was quite disruptive. The staff mentioned it was a false alarm, which probably means they know the old facilities sometimes cause this issue. The surroundings here are still good, though. Next time I visit, I'll definitely try out the water activities. It was a short but pleasant stay.

Overall experience: Fantastic. 1. The facilities are new, and all tables have rounded corners, which is very safe. There's a crib and bed rails available. The bedding is comfortable (though the mattress is a bit soft), soundproofing is good, and the toiletries are complete; the loofah sponge was particularly effective. 2. Breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's delicious. The fruit is fresh, and its quality is visibly excellent. Although there wasn't a dedicated baby meal, they had plain congee, boiled eggs, and the wonton noodle chef even helped prepare unseasoned vegetables and wontons for the child, which my kid loved. 3. The service attitude is superb. The staff are all handsome men and beautiful women who genuinely adore little babies. It's not just a superficial kindness; they pay attention to details. When the baby threw the children's cutlery on the floor, it was immediately replaced, and they patiently waited for the baby to call them 'jiejie' (older sister) and 'gege' (older brother). The dining environment is excellent, with a great ambiance that would be perfect for photos, but I'm always too busy eating to take any. 4. The hotel is conveniently located near 7-Eleven, McDonald's, KFC, and very close to Qianhai Stone Park and Happy Harbor. There's also a large shopping mall (One Avenue), making it very convenient. Food delivery is also quick, with a designated '*******' counter. 5. The concierge is on the 1st floor, but check-in is on the 35th floor, which is a bit awkward but not a dealbreaker. It's more convenient to go to the guest rooms from the 34th floor; after exiting the elevator, turn right for the guest room elevators, which is much easier than from the lobby (35th floor). 6. Downsides: A deposit is required. We were traveling with a large family group, with elders nearly 70 and a child just turned one. Because of the number of people checking in, there were no rooms available on the same floor. Unfortunately, on the first day, I had to trek between the 39th and 46th floors. My elderly parents had trouble with the shower's hot water, and the water wasn't hot enough, almost causing them to catch a cold. It was truly inconvenient. After communicating on the second day, we were told rooms on the same floor would be arranged in the afternoon, but it never happened by the time we checked out. Since we were only staying for two days, we didn't pursue it further. Overall, the minor flaws don't detract from the experience; the St. Regis Shenzhen, Qianhai is still fantastic and worth experiencing.

This newly opened luxury hotel boasts a prime location with stunning views of OCT Bay, offering a grand and pleasant vista. The lobby is exceptionally well-designed, and the daily champagne ritual held here creates a wonderful atmosphere. **Room:** The room generally feels spacious and stylish, with tasteful art pieces. The view from the room is fantastic; at night, you can lie on the sofa and enjoy the light show over Qianhai Bay, which is particularly delightful. As for toiletries, I absolutely loved the scent of the Sodashi shower gel, and the French brand toothpaste was also excellent. The St. Regis brand is known for its butler service, and whenever I stay with them, I always put it to the test. I personally feel that the service here is quite impressive: 1. **Ironing Service:** Two complimentary items per person per day, completed within an hour, and done to satisfaction. 2. **Tea Delivery Service:** Available morning or night, always delivered perfectly. 3. **Housekeeping Service:** Very thorough. * They also did an excellent job with mailing a package from the lobby. ❤️**The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise:** 1. **Western Cuisine:** I heard the改良版的班尼迪克蛋 (improved Eggs Benedict) might be Shenzhen's Top 1, so I tried it, and it was truly surprising – a must-try. 2. **Chinese Cuisine:** The staff at the Old Xiguan Beef Offal Rice Noodle station patiently picked out my preferred ingredients, piece by piece, and filled a whole bowl for me. It's hard to imagine such personalized service in a buffet restaurant in this era of standardized management. You can truly taste a soulful, authentic flavor. 3. **Beverages:** I particularly loved the freshly squeezed juices here; the ingredients are fresh, I'd say hand-picked. Towards the end of breakfast, when the manager, Vivianna, learned that my favorite freshly squeezed carrot juice had run out, she quietly contacted the chef on duty and had the kitchen specially wash new carrots, juice them, and deliver it to my room. This experience was incredibly touching. Authentic and substantial review.
