Service OK but could be more proactive on information.

After having a great experience in February, and the fact, as I wrote back then, our flight didn't leave until late morning I decided to stay here again, this time actually 3 of us sharing a single family room for a night - and it worked out great. Free included parking, excellent breakfast, and the outside patio this time more available due to a much warmer weather in July vs. February, friendly service - what not to appreciate? TIP: I was at first reserved a bit about the option of staying in the room on a small extra bed, but in the aftermath I can say that this small single bed I got here was the best I head in that entire week of changing hotels with a similar 2+1 setup while traveling through Spain - the reason being this wasn't just a a typical sofa, it felt more like an individual bed :)

The hotel is only a few minutes away from a train station, that goes both to the airport and to the city. We had to leave before the breakfast opened, but they offered to pack a breakfast for each of us, and it was great. The room was suprisingly good, shower and bathtub, AC and all over a great room. We didn't have any complains after our stay, would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I wanted to stay here for quite some time while fling of GDN airport but usually my flights were too early to accommodate for a breakfast, so this time having a decent departure time we decided to give Faros a chance.... and I have just booked it for another date already in July :) that's how much we have enjoyed the overnight stay! It's a fairly small boutique hotel and with a pretty spacious parking of its own in the back of it, and a great restaurant on the spot. The breakfast was superb quality and super cozy - we absolutely loved having plenty of time in the morning to enjoy it, otherwise you want give the place its deserved justice :) Very nice and friendly staff, clean, convenient - it is a walking distance easily to the airport but perhaps in the deep of the winter with super low temperatures, which was the case during our stay, it's the best idea to simply come here with a car and then repark it to the long term parking the day of your departure - again, in other times of the year I can see easily walking with the luggage (can't speak to the bus service as we didn't use it). Room was fairly small but cozy, with cable TV and great Wi-FI - what else to ask for during a single night stay... :)

I had missed my flight and had to stay in Gdańsk overnight. As upset as I was initially, this hotel lifted my spirits and made me feel much better. I was tired after having travelled all night and on booking, emailed the hotel to ask if they could accommodate me prior to the usual check in time of 4 pm. I immediately got a reply back saying that they would make an exception for me. When I arrived, a lovely receptionist, Julia, quickly and efficiently checked me in. I was delighted to find myself in a spacious, comfortable, bright and cosy room, with a modern and sparkling bathroom. I had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and was very impressed with my experience. Food was expertly and lovingly made, wonderfully presented and served with a smile. I had a great sleep and returned to the restaurant in the morning for my breakfast. Once again, I found the quality of food and service exceptional. There was a wide choice of breakfast items, both hot and cold, both traditional and local, including famous Polish waffles. I asked Vitoria on reception if I could stay a bit longer in my room as my flight isn’t until this evening and she kindly obliged. She also booked me a transfer to the airport. I found Faros hotel in Gdańsk a welcoming and professional service with warm and cosy ambience and wonderful and friendly staff. Julia, Victoria and a lovely lady at breakfast, sorry, I didn’t ask for her name, made sure that I was happy, and treated me in the most respectful, friendly and obliging manner. I am sure that goes for all other guests. My stay in Faros this time was accidental and unplanned, but I’ll be sure to return and will happily opt for Faros hotel again. Thank you
