聖奧古斯廷公寓(Digital Nomad San Agustin Apartments)

Localización excelente para visitar el viejo San Juan. Facilidad para la entrada. Todo estaba a poca distancia a pie, se sentía seguro. El apartamento era espacioso, limpio, tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para nuestra estancia y mucho más, nos encanto lo fresco que era todo el alojamiento, incluso durante el mediodia, cuando el calor y la humedad eran altos en el exterior. Pasamos una estancia maravillosa. Estuvimos extremadamente cómodos. Volveríamos a quedarnos aquí.

El Hotel está en una zona que al parecer fue muy dañada por María y la desidia . El equipo dueños y trabajadores de este apartamento - Hotel son muy hospitalarios . En el área se están recuperando otros espacios para renta . A mi me chocó el hecho de que nuestro apartamento no tuviera un aire acondionado central . Solo existía en los cuartos y en medio del fuerte calor era muy molesto estar en la sala o en cualquier otro lugar de la casa . Reitero : el team de trabajadores fue excelente , todo el tiempo pendiente de nuestro comfort . Gracias igual .

Nous avons apprécié la cordialité et la serviabilité des hôtes. Également, la proximité de la vieille ville. Par contre, il n’y a pas souvent d’eau chaude pour la douche.

Very basic, no-frills property, that is a great base to explore San Juan or Puerto Rico in general. The place is clean and safe, management is very responsive and efficient. The full kitchen comes in very handy and the free parking next door is a very useful feature in this part of town. Just don't expect any luxury (which is reflected in the price). This is an older property so it has no elevator, be prepared to climb some steep stairs (they do disclose this in advance). All in all a nice, safe place to be your home base while you explore Puerto Rico.

While not angry, I'm underwhelmed by this "hotel" experience for a few reasons: 1. Check in was extremely convoluted for no good reason. There is conflicting signage on *where* to check in, so that makes it confusing right off the bat. I had to call to figure it out, and they texted me a GPS link which made it look like we were miles away (not the case, it's just down the street). After walking in circles, we figured out where the front desk was. Check in for multiple rooms was very problematic for their system and I had to make multiple trips to the front desk to take care of things. The staff was really sweet, it's just an awful system. 2. Our bed was really uncomfortable. It was a futon-style mattress, very thin and hard. Not firm (I like firm mattresses), this was hard. The bed was also too short for my husband, who is 6'1". The futon couch in the living area is perhaps the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've ever attempted to sit in. I think it was broken. We sat on the floor or in dining chairs. 3. The "kitchen" is un-usable because there's nothing in it. One 8-inch skillet and a few utensils. We couldn't even boil water! We had groceries go to waste because there was just no way to cook them. 4. The bathroom and surfaces were clean, the floor was not. The old, historic tile is very cool. I understand that it's not going to shine like a new surface--that's fine. But our feet were dirty after walking barefoot.

It’s a nice apar**ent in a safe area . You can walk to the tourist areas in Old San Juan. Also what I liked is the parking.
