Gundam Factory Yokohama, located at Yamashita Pier, features a life-sized, 18-meter-tall moving Gundam robot. Open since December 2020, this engineering marvel showcases Gundam's iconic mecha with moving limbs and LED lights. Visitors can enjoy an up-close view of the robot stepping out of its dock. Unfortunately, the attraction will close permanently on March 31, 2024, with final tickets on sale in March
I am so glad to have been here and witnessed this marvel in person. If you get a chance, I highly recommend going and seeing this before it comes down. Even if you are not a fan of Gundam or know anything about it, you will have a very memorable experience here. The show at night is even better and it's pretty cool to see from Marine Tower.
Gundan Factory Yokohama, without a doubt one of the best experiences in Japan. Easy to get to from Tokyo, very affordable price. it's a shame it's not permanent. I am so glad to have been there and witnessed this marvel in person.
Good experience, staff was very friendly. Glad to have caught this exhibition before it closes. The food at the cafe was also very delicious and love the design of the cafe latte.
