This is one of the best options to stay in Jaffna. It’s not in the city centre, more on the outskirts of the city , there’s nothing around, so you basically plan your time in the resort. The hotel itself is nice , the rooms look a bit old but clean , there was no hot water in our room. The territory of the hotel is beautiful with the pool , restaurant, little museums to visit (ex bunkers). The food in the restaurant is yummy , the staff is friendly and polite, especially Scotty , he was very helpful and nice to us during our stay. Good experience at this hotel, just the water situation in the rooms should be improved.

Superbe écrin de tranquillité hors de l’hypercentre chaotique et bruyant de Jaffna. Le personnel est hyper prévenant à tous les égards. Le restaurant de l’hôtel situé au centre de la propriété dans un sublime bâtiment colonial invite à la détente et sert d’excellents plats. Ici encore, le personnel, dont Akilan, est soucieux du moindre détail. Vivement recommandé !

Hotel elegante, storico, che si sviluppa intorno ad un gradevole giardino. Le camere distribuite in varie palazzine sono ampie e pulite,non proprio silenziose a causa dei muri sottili a dell'aria condizionata piuttosto rumorosa. Davvero ottima la ristorazione a buffet,sia a colazione che a cena,con ampia e varia offerta di piatti della gastronomia locale sempre di grande qualità. Unico neo la scomodità al centro e ai motivi di interesse turistico.

Cet endroit est juste extraordinaire. C'est un petit paradis, les jardins y sont très bien entrenus, la décoration est magnifique et la piscine somptueuse. Pour les chambres idem, très spacieuses, confortables et bien équipées. Tout est propre. Le personnel toujours bienveillant est d'une gentillesse et amabilité très agréable. La carte restaurant et menu inclus est aussi très bien. Vous avez la possibilité de déguster des plats typiques mais aussi plus traditionnels. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits dans cet établissement et repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs.

Kleines gemütliches Hotel. Die Bilder der Webseite was die Location und die Speisendarbietung angeht, entsprechen nicht mehr der heutigen Realität. Der Pool ist schön, allerdings fehlen Sonnenschirme. Die Zimmer sind befriedigt. Zum Abendessen werden Moskitokeulen aufgestellt, sodass man draußen essen kann. Der Speisesaal hat mehr den Charme einer Jugendherberge.

Inmitten eines gepflegten Gartens (mit Pool und Außenrestaurant) liegen die einzelnen Gästehäuser dieses Resorts. Freundlicher und unaufwändiger CheckIn. Schöne große Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten. Erstklassiges Bad. Alles peinlich sauber. TV, Safe, kleine Kaffee/Tee-Bar, wlan vorhanden. Gutes Abendessen (hervorragendes Buffet), Frühstück auch mit lokalen warmen Gerichten eher normal. Große Empfehlung !

Un magnifique jardin bien pensé donnant sur une piscine décorée de jarres immenses et comprenant quelques tables du restaurant. Notre chambre est accessible par un sentier, wifi, frigo garni, clim et brasseur d’air, et des sachets pour le café et le thé. La douche est très chaude, avec un sèche cheveux, et le lit confortable • Seul bémol la musique et les chants qui émanent du temple voisin une grosse partie de la nuit . Petit déjeuner au buffet : viennoiseries , fruits frais et jus, plats nouilles et riz curry, des œufs…très bien

Het hotel is totaal ingericht op comfort en luxe, gelegen in een prachtige tuin en heeft een fijn zwembad. Maar de .meeste punten gaan naar het personeel, dat er alles aan doet om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het restaurant biedt een heerlijk scala van gerechten.

Tout est très bien ici, l'accueil chaleureux, les salariés travaillent beaucoup pour que tout soit impeccable, la chambre est nickel, l'endroit est calme et bien agencé. La nourriture très correcte (mais comme partout le no spicy vous arrache un peu la bouche tout de même...). Et la piscine sympathique. Merci à toute l'équipe.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Fox Jaffna in Sri Lanka. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt organisiert. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, immer mit einem Lächeln und bereit, uns bei Fragen und Wünschen weiterzuhelfen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet, mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Natur und den Pool. Hervorzuheben ist das Essen, das eine große Auswahl an frischen und vor allem lokalen Speisen bietet – ein Genuss. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundlich überaus hilfsbereite Personal in unserem Fall Suji -der uns alle Wünsche von den Augen ablesen konnte - Danke Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung zu erkunden. Der Pool war ebenfalls ein Highlight und bot eine willkommene Erholung nach unseren Ausflügen. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die einen erholsamen und komfortablen Aufenthalt in Jaffna suchen.

Bel hôtel, les chambres héritages sont très confortables. La piscine est bienvenue en fin de journée pour se rafraîchir. Le restaurant propose un buffet le soir. Petit bémol néanmoins : le petit déjeuner à 3500 roupies est cher.

Obwohl praktisch direkt an einer Strasse gelegen, liegt dieses historische Haus mit turbulenter Vergangenheit sehr ruhig gelegen in einer wunderschönen idyllischen Gartenanlage. Umgebaut in ein luxuriöses Boutique Hotel ist Fox Jaffna der ideale Rückzugsort und eine Oase bei Reisen in den Norden. Von A bis Z empfehlenswert... vom Empfang an der Reception bis hin zum Service- und Zimmerpersonal. Jederzeit würde ich dieses Hotel wieder berücksichtigen und vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank dem gesamten Staff des Fox Jaffna, für die eindrückliche Zeit bei euch.

Bel établissement à Jaffna avec tout le confort moderne. Nous avions un lit bébé dans la chambre et une chaise haute dans l'espace restauration. Les repas sous forme de buffet Sri lankais et Européen permettent d'adapter les repas pour le bébé. Equipe professionnelle et attentive. Point négatif à la fin du séjour au moment du check out, il a fallut argumenter pendant 1h pour leur prouver que nous avions prépayer une partie de la chambre.

Waren auf unserer Rundreise über Sri Lanka 2 Nächte im Fox Resort. Hotel Anlage und Zimmer sehr schön und sauber alles top. Frühstück und Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant sehr gut, besonders möchten wir uns bei Amith und Sujee bedanken super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Können dieses Haus nur weiter empfehlen kommen bestimmt wieder.
