This is one of the best options to stay in Jaffna. It’s not in the city centre, more on the outskirts of the city , there’s nothing around, so you basically plan your time in the resort. The hotel itself is nice , the rooms look a bit old but clean , there was no hot water in our room. The territory of the hotel is beautiful with the pool , restaurant, little museums to visit (ex bunkers). The food in the restaurant is yummy , the staff is friendly and polite, especially Scotty , he was very helpful and nice to us during our stay. Good experience at this hotel, just the water situation in the rooms should be improved.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Fox Jaffna in Sri Lanka. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt organisiert. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, immer mit einem Lächeln und bereit, uns bei Fragen und Wünschen weiterzuhelfen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet, mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Natur und den Pool. Hervorzuheben ist das Essen, das eine große Auswahl an frischen und vor allem lokalen Speisen bietet – ein Genuss. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundlich überaus hilfsbereite Personal in unserem Fall Suji -der uns alle Wünsche von den Augen ablesen konnte - Danke Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung zu erkunden. Der Pool war ebenfalls ein Highlight und bot eine willkommene Erholung nach unseren Ausflügen. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die einen erholsamen und komfortablen Aufenthalt in Jaffna suchen.

Bel établissement à Jaffna avec tout le confort moderne. Nous avions un lit bébé dans la chambre et une chaise haute dans l'espace restauration. Les repas sous forme de buffet Sri lankais et Européen permettent d'adapter les repas pour le bébé. Equipe professionnelle et attentive. Point négatif à la fin du séjour au moment du check out, il a fallut argumenter pendant 1h pour leur prouver que nous avions prépayer une partie de la chambre.

Waren auf unserer Rundreise über Sri Lanka 2 Nächte im Fox Resort. Hotel Anlage und Zimmer sehr schön und sauber alles top. Frühstück und Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant sehr gut, besonders möchten wir uns bei Amith und Sujee bedanken super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Können dieses Haus nur weiter empfehlen kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren da auf unserer Rundreise durch srilanka. Super nettes Personal wenn man auch ein wenig auf sie eingeht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Garten Anlage ein Traum. Der Pool klein aber fein. Das Essen sehr lecker wenn man das nimmt was landestypisch ist. 1x haben wir selber gekocht und wieder was dazugelernt. Jederzeit wieder.............................................................................................................

Sehr geschmackvolle, nicht zu große Hotelanlage am Stadtrand. Pool war wunderbar zur Erfrischung Nach den Besichtigungen und auch noch bis nachts geöffnet. Ganz wunderbar. Verpflegung sehr abwechslungsreich- westliche Küche ebenso wie srilankische und tamilische Spezialitäten erhältlich. Man konnte wunderbar im schönen Garten sitzen. Personal äußerst freundlich und bemüht. Zimmer makellos sauber- alles hat funktioniert, wunderbare Betten. Das einzige, was man noch verbessern könnte, wäre die Unterkunft für die Fahrer, die wohl deutlich zu wünschen übrig ließ.

Es war eine sehr angenehme zeit hier in fox jaffna! Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Im Restaurant hat Scotty alles gemacht um unser essen ein Erlebnis zu machen. Ein besuch in Jaffna hat sich gelohnt. Tempel ear nur 10 Minuten entfernt

Ein schönes gemütliches Hotel. Zimmer sind schön und sehr sauber. Ein wunderschöner Garden. Das Essen war lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig. Die live cooking Demonstration hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Nous avons fait un arrêt de deux jours dans cet hôtel. Le service est impeccable. Tout le monde est aux petits soins pour vous. Les chambres sont tout à fait correctes et la literie confortable. La piscine est agréable après une journée de visite dans Jaffna. Le buffet est simple mais varié. À recommander pour une halte de 2 3 jours.

I went for our lunch to fox resorts during our tour to Jaffna.we had biriyani and rice and curry. Biriyani was okay yet my rice and curry had no taste at all. I complained this and got to know that the chef is an old fellow. Not worthy for money, so disappointed. Yes the environment is so nice yet the food and the service is 0.

Het was een geweldig hotel! Vriendelijke bediening goed zwembad en mooie ingerichte kamers. Het eten was ook heel lekker, maar er was voor mijn gevoel weinig keuze, maar het was wel erg lekker. Ook de sfeer was heel mooi. In de avond kun je daar heel gezellig lopen.

Les chambres sont correctes sans plus. Celle que nous occupons pres de la piscine est bruyante (bavardages des estivants au bord de la piscine) et mal insonorisée (bruits des chambres voisines). Le buffet ne comporte qu’une salade en entrée meme si les plats sont plutot bons. Le petit dejeuner est parcimonieux et limité. Jus de fruit rate, lait froid sur demande, thé noire trop fort … bref, il y a mieux à Jaffna ..’

Kleines, von außen unscheinbaren Hotel mit 2-geschossigen Häusern. Auf den ersten Blick sehr nett, allerdings ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Der Pool ist schön. Das Personal ist super nett und engagiert, macht vieles wett. Wir haben uns total willkommen und wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren während einer Rundreise für 2 Nächte in diesem tollen Hotel. Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Klein, sehr sauber und grün und dies mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Den Pool ist einfach toll und macht Spaß sich dort zu erfrischen. Wir hatten hier einen Kochkurs mit dem Chefkoch. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht und das Fisch-Curry ...so lecker.! Überhaupt waren wir sehr begeistert von den Speisen. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Hervorheben möchten wir Shane, der über alle Maßen freundlich und hilfsbereit war.
