Wir können uns den überwiegenden Bewertungen nur anschließen...eine wahrliche Ruheoase inmitten der Medina von Marrakesch mit liebevoll gestaltetem Design und Interieur. Wir waren sowohl zu Anfang als auch am Ende unserer Rundreise im Riad El Borj und haben uns jeweils sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Daniel und sein Team kümmern sich charmant und zuvorkommend um ihre Gäste. Sollten wir nochmals nach Marrakesch reisen, würden wir sicherlich wieder das Riad El Borj als Unterkunft wählen.

Un Riad que nous préférons, tout est magnifique, un accueil chaleureux, sommes reçu comme des hôtes, tout est dans le détail, on adore, endroit au calme une belle décoration, c'est sur, fin d'année nous reviendrons.Encore merci pour votre accueil.

Generalmente, me da pereza dejar reseñas, pero en este caso el servicio fue, sencillamente, superlativo. Ya desde antes de viajar, el dueño, Daniel, me asistió a distancia en todo lo que necesité, proporcionándome información útil y ayudándome a planificar las actividades que quería hacer. Cuando llegué, me estaba esperando con un té y un mapa para indicarme los mejores sitios a los que ir, evitando las típicas trampas para turistas. La habitación en la que estuve y los desayunos, espectaculares y a un precio muy razonable. El último día, tras volver del desierto, en la habitación me estaba esperando una cajita con dulces típicos marroquíes y, a la mañana siguiente, Daniel me acompañó a pie hasta la plaza para despedirme. Aunque seguro que repetiré, mi experiencia con ellos ha sido irrepetible. 20/10.

Super! Riad bellissimo e ben tenuto, nonostante nei giorni in cui siamo andati noi ci fossero dei lavori di ristrutturazione dovuti al terremoto. Colazione marocchina, abbonante. Staff sempre presente e disponibile. È stato bellissimo incontrare e conoscere Daniel, il proprietario, una persona disponibile e di cuore. Ali e le signore in cucina, dolcissimi e disponibili. In ottima posizione, a due minuti dalla famosa piazza. Super tranquillo, lontano dai rumori e frastuono del souk. Non vedo l’ora di tornare a Marrakech e da loro.

The staffs were wonderful and friendly. The room was very clean. The AC worked really well. The courtyard was nice and cool. Patio was pretty. I enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast and the orange jam. I wished there would be an egg though. Location is not bad. We were able to find it with google map without difficulties. We loved the restaurant Nomad that the riad recommended. The trash can in the bathroom was handmade and so adorable.

Communication with El Borj is excellent, we arranged a transfer from the airport and all went very smoothly. We arrived to a lovely welcome from Ali and a tour of our accommodation. The Douriya room is spectacular, huge, cool and very relaxing. After a few days exploring the medina it was a welcome to return to El Borj and our cool relaxing rooms! The location to Jemaa el Fna and the Souks is great, a 5 minute walk. Ali arranged a hot air balloon ride for us, the pick up location was at Cafe de France at Jema El Fna market, so the location cannot be beaten for being central. Daniel helped us with withdrawing money at the ATM. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely and the staff are excellent. There are many places to eat and wander around. I would 100% recommend El Borj, for our very first experience of Marrakech, it was fabulous.

We spent three night at Riad El Borj and enjoyed it immensely. Our room was quiet and comfortable and we received some good inner options from Ali. The Riad is a beautiful oasis off one of the main streets of the Medina but once you are behind the doors the mayhem from outside is forgotten. Breakfast was good - fruit, yoghurt plus different breads, jams and cheese with a delicious cake option that we ate each morning! The staff were helpful and friendly and the owner very approachable rescuing us at the door on our first night after we had become hopelessly lost. (This was our fault and nothing to do with the Riad)

L'hébergement est logé en plein coeur des rues de Marrakech. Nous avons obtenu de l'aide pour apporter nos bagages de l'auto, qui doit être laissée sur la place, jusqu'à la riad. L'hôte, Daniel, nous accueille chaleureusement. L'endroit est magnifique, propre et l'ambiance y est douce et confortable. La vue de la terrasse est à couper le souffle: nous y sommes entourés de fleurs de toutes les couleurs et au centre loge un orangier dont les fleurs embaument l'air. Le petit déjeuner nous a été servi sur la terrasse. J'y retournerais sans hésiter :)

Excelente Ryad situado en el centro de Marrakech. Buena atención y buen servicio. Muy atentos en todo momento. A destacar la limpieza, tanto de la habitación como de las instalaciones. El desayuno exquisito y variado. Recomendable al 100%.

Posizione comodissima, attaccato alla piazza di Marrakech. Personale cordiale, Riad meraviglioso, stanze stupende con tutto il necessario dentro. La colazione viene servita su un'ampia terrazza ed è buonissima. Il proprietario Daniel è molto gentile e disponibile. Grazie per tutto.

Ce fût une magnifique expérience pour tous nos sens ! Une équipe des plus chaleureuses, Daniel l'hôte de ce Riad est un passionné et l'a restauré à merveille! Une suite authentique, grande fraiche et calme et un carrelage très agréable. De magnifiques jeux de lumière, des senteurs de jasmin sur la terrasse. Et pour finir une cuisinière hors pair qui nous a préparé un délicieux dîné plein de surprises. Encore merci à vous pour cet excellent moment bien trop bref à notre goût! Nous nous ferons une joie de venir plus longtemps cette fois!

This is simply beautiful, from entering the Riad the feeling is relaxed. Our greeting was very warm and welcoming. We stayed for 2 nights while on a longer trip and found the location exceptional, slightly off the main open market square, slightly off the main market trading lanes which made it very quiet and relaxed while fully immersed in the heart of Marrakech. The owner and staff simply cannot be any more accommodating, the breakfast is delightful and the evening cooking smells are delicious and we wished we had eaten dinner here. We had the top balcony room which offers 360’ views of the area including the distant mountains, the room is lovely, the bathroom is lovely, the open windows offer bird song and gently city sound. We would highly recommend this Riad.

Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Staff was very kind and breakfast satisfying. Stayed in the 'Tower Room' with large private rooftop terrace which was great for sunsets. The owner was there everyday, a well-spoken Frenchman who gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Would not hesitate to stay here again

As a family of 5 we stayed here in April for 5 nights. The Ryad itself is absolutely stunning, the photos on line do not do it justice. Our rooms were perfect, very comfortable beds & beautifully decorated. The breakfast each morning was amazing, a different selection of local produce every day with fruit, coffee & the most delicious orange juice. There was so much to eat it set us up perfectly for our day exploring. The location of the Ryad is perfect, a couple of minutes walk to the main square, and no more than 15 minutes walk to all the main attractions we wanted to visit. All of the staff that we met were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Daniel was fantastic and gave us so much information, and Ali was the nicest most helpful man you could ever wish to meet. We were made to feel at home instantly and I have never felt so welcomed. This was truly my most favourite place i have ever holidayed, and I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you so much Daniel & Ali x
