This morning, I went to Ginza in Tokyo to watch the performance of traditional Japanese operas. Kabuki is a special theatre for Kabuki performances. Since 1914, Songzhu has started its business here. Since its opening on November 21, 1889, it has suffered from fires and wars. It has been destroyed, rehabilitated and rebuilt several times. The existing scale was built in 1951. It is the style of the Taoshan era in Japan and has been listed as the national tangible cultural heritage. Over the past 100 years, Kabuki Theatre has been continuously performed here, maintaining the throne of the most representative Kabuki theatre. Today's repertoire consists of three consecutive performances, i.e. Root of the Target, Gaga Kitty and Lion, each with a 25-minute break. The audience can eat takeout at the theatre. The curtain on the stage transforms the typical four seasons scenery of Japan!
Coming out of the construction market and ready to take the subway, I came to it by accident. Nine minutes later, there was a 55-minute play, and the tickets were bought immediately. Adults and children have the same fare. Buy a ticket not from the main entrance, from the side door of the elevator straight up, in the back three rows, just look for a seat. Photography is prohibited. All male actors, drama style, 55 minutes of dialogue, cry and laugh, do not understand at all. Only about ten minutes later, I noticed that several people around me were all asleep. Or do the local people look better in kimonos on the street?
